Thanks so much!! Really appreciate that. That guitar is a Suhr Classic T Deluxe Limited Edition. I did a whole video about it if you are interested :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1I8ccwSR5es.html
Hi, LR ! Could you help please ? I want to play my guitar pedals into a Seymour Duncan Powerstage 170 connected to my 1x12 V30 Cab. Do you recommend any preamp kind of pedal ? Small form factor is important. I respect your advice so thanks if you see this !
HeuyHK....it's so hard to recommend a piece of gear so critical to tone shaping because we are all chasing what we hear in our heads. There are so many great preamp pedals on the market. My recommendation, if possible would be to test some through your rig. Either through a service with a good return policy or a local store that would be open to letting you try it. Playing it in store through different gear won't let you know what it will sound like in your system. So best bet is a place with a good return policy and just try a few. Good luck!!!
Thank you , great video... I have many amp sims and ir cab ( like everyone...) , i have Amplitube Max, ToneX , Audio Assault, Neural DSP, Aurora, Nembrini, and the list goes on... After seing your video i am about to chose bettween Mikko2 OR MGuitar Architect... wich one did you think are more advance and offert more flexibility ( with great sound of course... ) . THANKS !
Thanks! Mikko2 and MGA are 2 very different things. Mikko2 is a Cb IR application and MGA is a full tone designer app with amps, cabs, fx and signal routing. So it depends what you need. They are both awesome...
@@LonelyRocker yes i know, but for the ``Ir`` part in MGA ( seems to be able to load almost unlimited amount of IR fron ``tone hub`` , and it`s look like the don`t just load ir sound , but reproducing the ir you doanload ( in otters words, apparently you can ``remoldling`` the IR sound after download it, don`t think any other app can do that. ). Annyway THANKS.
MGA seems like a big app if you just want IRs. I use Mikko2 all the time. I't's my goto Cab Ir plugin right now. But MGA is great for the whole signal chain and if you love tweaking. I think they both have a free trial...maybe try them?
2 Days ago??? WTF?? (I'm a ringed subscriber) . This broken Facebook thingy is - well - I'll keep it clean for other viewers but .... Arrrghh !!! I better not miss one of Mike's shows because of this. Sorry Dan - I've been reduced to communicating here - triple- arrghh.
@@LonelyRocker Yes true - but, I know Mike is getting ready for a "live" stream soon (maybe in about a week) and will be disappointed if I miss alerts to that.
TH-U sounds so good but has extremely weird phasing issues when exporting the impulses you create. Some plugins can't load the exports and many hardware units can't blend them with other cabs. Axe fx 3 and helix are major ones.
@@rudycastillo6369 Yeah! I find I use the Mega Oversized a lot...clearly captured from a Mesa Cab...I think it has V30s. And I move the mics around a lot and use the built in EQ...very handy features to scoop out harshness,,,
