When I rediscovered the game, my dad was able to get the Complete Adventure Disc for my PS4, and now I am able to play the whole game.

Even if they did have the licensing from mojang… it’d be hard to get all the old voice actors back… especially because ivor was voiced by paul reunben. Who tragically passed away. Same actor that played pee wee…

I also agreed that this game will never come back but this is a very underrated Telltale Game, I like Minecraft Story Mode both season 1 and 2!!!!

Minecraft story mode was the best game ever. It was better than normal Minecraft.

I played this when i was a kid and I was thinking of playing this game again but I coundn't find it so I had to pirate it to even get it.

To the people saying you can’t play it you can still pirate it sure it’s a bit of a dick move but since you can’t even buy it I call it fair game

I'm probably one of the only people out there that could still play both Season 1 and Season 2 of this game if I wanted to, because back in early 2021 I had gotten a version of it for the Switch that had all the episodes downloaded for you and you could play them. Still crazy to think about tbh, i remember playing this back in 2016

I honestly think the people that owned and worked at mojang studios for minecraft canceled minecraft story mode. why you may ask? Just look at Gabriel’s armour trim and netherite gear! I think minecraft stole minecraft story mode’s ideas that’s just a example I mean look at all the newer minecraft features like Gabriel’s amour that’s my honest opinion

another one of Teltale's main problem with the games was thay had too many licensed IPs and under deleverd on all thair games like yeah they where fun to play or watch the first time but had little to no replay value causeing many people to just wasch videos rather than buy the games and this replay value situation is the same fate many other story based games have being to liniar and repetative

Minecraft Story Mode is my favourite game series of all time!! While I'm very sad that there was never a Season 3 I was very happy with how Season 2 ended! It ended on a very fulfilling note. They answered questions people had (if you selected to stay in beacontown Radar tells you so much valueable information since there is no Season 3). I've theorized in my head what happens afterwards but that's just me Plus it's confirmed that my favourite charecter, Cassie Rose IS Alive. This is shown at the end of Season 2 if you select to Stay in beacontown. 1 of the things Radar says is that Jesse got mail from someone with the initials WP (White Pumpkin) that says LOOK OUT.

To be honest I never got to play story mode I was on the Netflix version but I wasn't able to finish it and I was curious why I couldn't find it on Netflix so I looked up is it still on Netflix and I looked up will it ever be coming back and they said no Its personally is going to make me cry that was the really only fun thing to do on Netflix now I have to order it off Amazon which is going to take months I just wish they could bring it back

I think we have already played enough of it and it will forever remain in our hearts. There are a lot of cool mods in Minecraft now that can bring back those childhood memories.

I loved the game so much, I love what they did with the world and characters, I just wish they didn't take down the game and Telltale didn't shut down, in fact, I recently replayed the game and platinumed it, making my second ever platinum (yes, I know, I am terrible at earning trophies), I was hoping for a season 3 so much, and was so disappointed that Telltale shut down

Very nice video, but I'd change the title and thumbnail. It feels very clickbaity and random - I'd change it to something like "Why Minecraft Story Mode Was Discontinued," or "How Minecraft Story Mode Faded Into Obscurity," rather than saying it just doesn't exist. Thar's just my opinion though, so no offense. Again, great video!

I've played every Minecraft story mode and overall it was amazing yet the voice actor of Ivor is dead now aka Paul Reubens yet Minecraft Dungeons doesn't stand a chance against such amazing creation ill miss such a game.
