I fell "in love" w Vincent during his portrayal of Kiril in "Eastern Promises", w/ Viggo Mortensen & Armand Mueller-Stahl. 2 GREAT actors who probably enhanced "V's" career. IMO, Monica probably enhanced V's career also, as well as cultivating him as a person. I now seem to think she always had more class than "V". She's not only beautiful, she's quite emotionally intelligent, insightful & an honest- hearted woman. IMO, he "married up" bc he's not as intelligent as Monica & he needs to be around or connected to whomever is & or has more to enhance him & make/keep him relevant. He's just another male who left a long-standing union to😢 marry a MUCH younger, Black woman to keep him looking relevant. That will def make him look relevant! For me, in the end, I think I over-rated him based on superficiality of celebrity affection but I've lost respect for him. 30 years from now, will she still be in this marriage w/ him ? As for Monica : I wish that she gets what she wants in life & if that includes a partner, that it should be someone who not only loves BUT appreciates her.
I dont know, maybe because he's an accomplished actor. Also, him bagging hot women makes him more attractive to other hot women. It's called pre-selection.
There's a French word for it: 'jolie laide.' It's a real thing. I happen to find men like Cassel, Norman Reedus, Chris Cooper, and the late great Elliott Smith to be very appealing
He said he likes the innocence and adventure of younger girls, basically she grew up and he didn’t mature emotionally. He said he’s open sexually, having been with men as well and that when he married Monica, she wanted kids and he wasn’t ready. Seems like once kids come he exits in some kind of way. Just like he did with the 19 yr old he had a kid with as well. He’s not a one woman or family man, he’s the town bicycle.
