@@baldingprimate1926 true. I agree that all of us have a darker side. The human "shadow" which is what enabled us to do the horrible deeds throughout History. But we also have a brighter side. One that allows us to care, to feel, to love and to protect others in need. I'm sure you were helped at least once by a kind person in your life? Those people are the ones that keep our world from being engulfed in shadows. The human soul is comprised by these 2 sides. There is no problem or shame to admit to your darker nature, as long as you can control it, and do good for the world and yourself, no matter how small, everything will workout. @@dekaron12 you're thinking too much mate, i wasnt even thinking of that, i just wanted to point out what Jung was hinting at, that the individual you might think is sane on the outside is dealing with his own shit on the inside, we dont know his struggles, we only see the drama he acts out infront of us, its supposed to make you take a step back before judging someone or feeling inferior compared to others, to me it just reminds us were all wounded.

I really enjoyed "Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darkness of other people". I have always thought this but never heard it put into words. Kind of like knowing that if you had great power, you would eventually hurt others with it. And understanding what others would do, and most certainly do, toward others with it as well. Also "as a child I felt myself to be alone. And I am still, Because I know of things and must hint at things which others apparently know nothing of, and for the most part do not want to know." As a only child who grew up poor I have always been this way. I sometimes question is it an arrogance to think I see things others chose not to. Or is it just I am part of the few who choose to speak up.

I believe they deserve to be robbed and hurt. By letting them insult myself or others, I feel as if I am enabling the degeneration of society at large. At the same time, I am extremely envious of them, as they seem to get their way without obvious repercussions, and I see the trait of miscreant behavior as the holy grail of power. Accordingly, I also view agreeableness and agreeable people with cynical contempt, and I want more than anything else to rid myself of all unintended niceness so that I can finally fit in.

It's two polarities of the same thing. Accepting both is basically the two polarities making peace with each other you are both and you identify with both individually but you also identify with the war that they are in so to stop the war you need to observe them and stop identifying with the war. Thing is this isnt something to be done but rather something that happens as its not an egoic doing. Contemplate on this and perhaps you may find peace in this war.

He didn't create Paypal, in fact he was fired a year before Paypal was created from the previously failing company Musk was part of. The Boring Company didn't produce anything of value despite promising the future of transportation Hyperloop, which by the way was a patent for like 60 years, but it was and still is completely inpractical (and will be). SolarCity is a humongous sham where he lied to Tesla so they can buy a company which was and still is loosing market cap, with a technology (solar roof), that didn't work and still doesn't (oh and you know at the time he was the CEO of both, so you know no conflicts of interest there). Elon isn't a genius, isn't a visionary. He is more like an angry child who got access to too much power. He has the money and the charisma to direct and influence people, but hasn't really made anything on his own, worst he stole most of it ousting the original creators. Not to mention his neurotic vengeance campaings on Twitter. It is truly sad that people look up to him, because he isn't a model you want to immitate. Or you do, but then don't be surprised when you wake up in a world that is even more full of backstabbers and liars than the one we already have. Just because someone sounds convincing doesn't mean they aren't lying. Look at Elizabeth Holmes. She managed to fool investors with decades of experience with her charisma, despite not having any product that worked even in theory.

If you don't do it, I'd suggest before uploading you run the audio and text through someone who will listen carefully. I spotted words were misread a few times and it could be avoided in the future. I could point to the time stamps if asked.
Good quotes and video in general, although I personally found the voice acting to be a bit fake and too much. Because of it I muted the video and watched it that way haha. Perhaps that's just me.
