Muppet blood Meridian would be the best thing ever I genuinely think that Jim Henson would have been intrigued by the idea with how he was always trying to push muppets into more mature settings
2 things, I wold prefer if the muppets just had a western movie. I wold love it if The Judge was a puppet. A puppet designed to be as human as possible.
When the blind muppet enters the tavern at the start of the movie, that part was SO TERRIFYING to me as a kid. Having rewatched it recently, I definitely agree that some of the songs are kinda pointless.
I read somewhere that Michael Caine's performance was so good because he saw the muppets as fellow actors, and Tim Curry's was so good because he saw himself as a fellow muppet
This is probably my favorite Muppet movie. I'd argue it had the most funniest jokes than The Great Muppet Capper. And that's also because of Tim Curry in the mix as well.
I'd like to see them do Muppet Beauty & the Beast where instead of the enchanted objects, they're the Muppets. Belle and the Beast would be played by celebrities to keep it faithful with Christmas Coral and Treasure Island's style by having a lot of elements from the original fairytale with the Muppets all throughout for comedic effect.
The TNT made for tv film adaptation of Treasure Island from the late 1980s is the best one. But Muppets Treasure Island is great too. Tim Curry makes just about anything better.
Been waiting for this video ! Ever since I saw your fire Treasure Planet videos and that you made muppet videos I knew you would make this one. Another wonderfully presented video from YungJunko 10/10
OMG OMG OMG! I have watched this video on RU-vid with G SMOKE 🐐🚬0⃣3⃣😜 and Black Peter Griffin and it was awesome! I love Kermit, Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, Pepe the King Prawn, Gonzo and Tim Curry but not this movie! I don't even watch or care for this movie but I prefer Muppet Christmas Carol! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐
It's been a very long time since I've seen this one, but Muppet Treasure Island was hands down my favorite Muppet movie as a kid. I'm surprised I didn't wear out the VHS tape as many times as I watched it. This movie was also my introduction to Tim Curry, which I suspect is true for a lot of people in their 30s.
This movie is often overlooked but it’s still a really fun movie. TIM FUCKING CURRY THOUGH HOLY SHIT Also I think the reason Piggy didn’t get much screen time was because Frank Oz was busy directing movies. For his other characters, namely Fozzie and Sam, were performed by other puppeteers but voiced over by Frank. However, Miss Piggy is one of those characters that you really have to be giving it your all to truly play well. So it’s hard to be doing that if you’re only voicing the character. Luckily he was able to come in and perform her for a little bit.
Tim Curry is so fun in this one, the scene where he and his pirates are playing with the booty in slow mo while Smolett and Benjamina are singing about their love is insane
I'm not scared to say this but I think the whole thing with puppets and humans is stupid. Like why not just have the puppets by themselves? I get there is a lot that gets put into it, but it just seems a little too silly to have humans interacting with these freaky deaky things like they are a part of society. Like how did that happen? Have they always had a shared universe? I don't know maybe because I don't have clarity on it.
The Muppets have always been set in "the real world", The Muppet Show had real human celebrities. Heck, The Muppets 2011 has a puppet that's brother's with a human, good luck figuring that out
