Why My Low Rider ST is NOT for Sale or Trade 

Buddy, love the video! Reminds me a bit of my own “sellers regret”. My first Harley was a Softail Deuce, brand new. Made all kinds of modifications, chrome everywhere, custom paint, exhaust, then rode out on several road trips stacking up more than 62,000 miles. Guys told me it looked too nice to travel on. Lol. I parted ways with it eventually, looking to take on personalizing another new bike. I never heard the end of it, “WHY would you get rid of that bike?!” I felt the same way. Too much nostalgia, too much of a connection I had with that bike. Have kicked myself ever since. Never should have gotten rid of that bike. Years later I’ve tracked down the bike, same owner, but he’s not ready to sell it back to me. Eventually I’ll pay too much to get it back, but learned my lesson; never get rid of a Harley you have that much of a bond with. Just move things around in the garage, park it off to the side, and just add to your fleet!

I put the 3030 cam in mine along with few other extras and ITS A MONSTER!!!! 121hp and 133tq that's with old aircleaner. It should be a little more now I put Trask assault air cleaner on it!!! I love mine coning from a 2018 road glide special only thing I miss is radio. Saving for the RF system hopefully this year I'll have it.

Yep I still need a FXLRST. I do like your Anniversary RG as well. Test rode. And man you don’t have to try too hard to get on it. Will definitely throw you back!!!!

Hello Ty, always love your content. This week I rode my 2023 RGS 400 miles, and exchanged it for a 2023 LRST in a private party trade. The LRST has stage 2 with cam. On the way home in heavy Wyoming winds, the bike was very stable and performed great. I was very impressed with how the fairing performed, may be even better the Road Glide. I’ve never been able to get by with stock Harley windshields, and this one is no exception (I’m only 5’8”). Aside from swapping out the windshield, I’ll be changing out the mid foot controls IMMEDIATELY! Not sure how you use the rear brake pedal with pegs so high.. I’ll be looking into changing to forward controls, possibly from the Heritage softail. In my case, I knew the riding triangle on the LRST would need some attention from a previous test ride👍 love the light weight and power of this bike. Cheers from Denver😀

Very cool ride for sure. I haven't had the pleasure of trying one out yet. I have a couple years left before I can call my RGS all mine. My wife has already been warned when that happens bike #2 will suddenly appear in the garage. haha Have a good time on your trip. Say hi to BoDean for me.
