What are your favorites from Donginbi? I just get so overwhelmed by the choices and because it’s not as popular is western spaces as Sulwhasoo, it’s hard to know which of their products Donginbi known for!

love seeing beuayt of joseon getting more recognition. the brand has done wonders for my skin. the dynasty cream and the glow serum with ginseng are my staple products. my skin has improved so much!
Ginseng makes my skin so happy. I love that Beauty of Joseon makes it so affordable. I did splurge on the Donginbi Daily Defense Essence Ex a couple of months ago. It's more of a serum texture. It makes my skin absolutely glow. I did repurchase from a KBeauty retailer since it's much more affordable that way. It's so good.

I started using Beauty By Joseon ginseng essence for I guess 2-3 months I didn't notice any difference whatsoever and I thought it as a waste of money. But I did continue using it (cause I bought it I have to use it) after few more months I started noticing some difference in my skin. It look brighter, more even toned and glowy. My thoughts are changed I am gonna use it😃 Also the area where I live has hard water so I pat my face dry and use this to damp my skin, while it is damp I use Cosrx Snail essence and top it up with Illyoon cream and then retinoid 0.25% Right now my skin is in its healthy and glowy state
i have awful water in my area too and I bring a bit of drinking water in a bowl when I'm washing my face. then I plash it my face when I'm done washing off the cleanser. LOVE the results!!!! you should try it
Just added the BOJ ginseng as of this past weekend. Purchased the eye cream a few weeeks back and have just started to see the pluses of that product. On top of Prem bc of your high recommendation. What a difference! I’ve made great strides in my skin health bc of you ❤
Wild ginseng (red) is more expensive, while farmed ginseng is less expensive this one is used for cooking with. It is known as a "gift from the Gods", 😊💜👏👏👏 really enjoyed this video, new subscriber
Hey Kelly! Speaking of ginseng Beauty of joseon just came out with their new ginseng moist sun serum. I got the email last night and 🏃♂️ ran to their amazon link and ordered it. I’m so curious how this one will be. It looks like some kind of green type of gel/serum I think it was about $19 and will be here in a few days! Would love to see if you’re gonna Try it. I’m quite sure you will be!
I was just about to post the same thing! I’m wary of how it contains alcohol and seemingly some fruit oils that I’m not sure will work for my skin… Interested to hear reviews (Kelly’s, of course!) and maybe give it a try.
I just saw it , definitely ordering it . I am always looking for a lightweight comfortable spf I am one of those that hate spf so I need the perfect one and this does sound nice.

@@KellyDriscoll is it ---> Citrus Aurantium, Amara (Bitter Orange) Leaf/Twig Oil? This is what I'm curious/hesitant about.. I might do some digging later, but it doesn't sound necessarily like a citrus essential oil, so really curious about these ingredients exactly, and also why they would choose to use them. I usually avoid essential oils, but some are okay, or even helpful, even with my extremely sensitive skin. Particularly some resins, like galbanum, frankincense, poplar balsalm, etc. But I'm scared of citrus oils >_

I have the big bottle of the Hygee natural repair 4.05 oz it's a better deal then the small bottle and I haven't made a dent in it and I use it every day. It's onsale for 40$ right now for the 4.05 oz bottle.
I have purchased the Mixsoon Ginseng Essence but i did not really enjoy it. I have asked them what type of Ginseng they use (age, cultivated/wild/simulated) but did not really get a clear answer from them. Same thing goes to BoJ. I guess you get what you pay for. I think the cheapest one that is very clear of what type of Ginseng they use including age is I'm From Ginseng line. But I always go for Donginbi for a Ginseng focused products because they don't fool around with the age, type and extraction method of Ginseng that they use.
@@hannal5512 you should! But they are quite expensive though. Other than Donginbi, my favourite brands that offer real hanbang Ginseng products are Sulwhasoo, Hanyul, Sooryehan, History of Whoo, and Yehwadam. Btw, Missha also has Ginseng line and they follow the authentic hanbang in producing their Ginseng products but I haven't tried them.
I tried the Hyggee serum last year and stopped cuz I thought I didn't see any improvement and when I stopped, I kinda miss it and after watching your videos, I think I should incorporate it into my skincare routine again 🤣 it did make my skin glow from within and a bit bouncy to touch! I'm currently using the BOJ retinal eye cream for my whole face and so far, really love the result I'm getting!
Hey, can i ask what skintype do you have? Cause im a little bit scared if the texture is too thick for my skin and if i could break out from the seaweed plants
@@JoshuaLerchen I have a dry skinytype and prone to dehydration. Both the Hyggee serum and BOJ retinal eye cream doesn't have any seaweed extracts, hope this helps!
I love saro de rue essence by Ghotamista, one of the best product on the market! Of course you pay for the quality, the ginseng extraction process is pretty expensive so I doubt that you are buying a good quality product at a low price.

I’ve heard that the formulas are supposed to be ground breaking and innovative and highly effective. So far I definitely see what the hype is about🤩 it baffles me why everyone is not talking about these products when they are so affordable and effective🤔 Would love to hear your take🙏♥️
My first experience with ginseng was I’m from Ginseng serum and everything else ginseng since, has been a disappointment. I’ve tried everything from this video apart from the Hygge one, and nothing comes even close. The I’m From Ginseng serum has immediate visible results over night on wrinkles and a wonderful earthy scent. Kelly, I hope you will try and review it.
I had to go in my bathroom and double check and as far as I can see, there is no added fragrance in the serum. I can’t find anything in the ingredients list that looks like a fragrant component or essential oil either but I’m not an expert. I haven’t looked into any of the other products in this line but at least the serum looks to be free of fragrance. It does have that lovely earthy smell though. I have no physical skin problem with fragrance, I just don’t like fragrances and some types give me a headache which is why I try to avoid fragrances.
I just tried the I'm From Ginseng serum this morning and it had instant results! my skin was so glowy all day. I think i will stick to it and not bother with the others thanks to your comment :)

Question for you: If I started using the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng + Snail Serum do you think I should use it in place of the Cosrx Snail Mucin Power Essence that I adore? Or perhaps just stick with the Cosrx Snail and add the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence? I would really like to incorporate ginseng into my routine but not quite sure how to do it 😊
You could easily use both together! Maybe experiment with the order, BOJ serum first and then Cosrx (due to the textures) either way would work though! I've been using my Cosrx with the Hyggee Serum lately and it's a nice combo!
I just purchased the BOJ Glow Serum and used it tonight. I also ordered the ginseng essence and it should arrive tomorrow. I’m so excited 🎉 Question: can the essence be used with adapalene? Or is best to keep it simple with adapalene? Thanks ❤

Hi Kelly, since this is your latest video I'll ask here - could you make a video for sensitive skin? My skin is dry/dehidrate and I'm having a hard time finding the suitable produts since my skin really doesn't like gelly structures or toners with a "body" to it, as you like to say. I find most of the produts for dry skin not moisturing or nourishing enough. My skin is somwhere in between - needs a proper balance of moisture and nourishment. Any recomadatins (nothing gel like or heavy oclusives)?
For some reason, my skin doesn't like BOJ ginseng essence. It is actually drying for me. I love most of BOJ's products, but this essence is not working for me at all. Ended up using it on my legs not to waste the product.
Retinal is generally going to be more potent than retinol, BOJ uses 3% encapsulated (not 3% total retinal) but it's formulated to be gentle for the eye area.
I haven't tried Donginbi 1899 Essence, but that is the only expensive one I know without fragrance. It seems a little harder to find these days not sure if the company is phasing it out.
It's possible your skin doesn't like the 2% of niacinamide in the essence water. If you have used other products with ginseng it's possible your skin doesn't like the ginseng extract!
Hi Kelly! Please, check the pronunciation of the Hyggee brand. If I'm not mistaken, you're pronouncing it wrong. Also, please make the sound of the inscriptions appearing on the screen quieter.
