I love your message about enjoying the sun and not just shutting it out of your life. I love sunshine. It makes me happy. I use my sunscreen and wear my hats, but I'm not going to live in darkness. I'd be miserable. So thanks for saying that. 😊
I live in the Netherlands and even in the summer we tend to miss out on Sunshine. So when the sun is out I want to get out there and enjoy! ☀️ always in good measure.

I appreciate this video. As a 67 year old I’m further into aging than simply preventative. I need the heavy handed fighters. Some K beauty agrees with my philosophy of less chemicals, more natural ingredients. I’ve watched many of your videos trying to gather products for all the things you’ve pretty much summed up here. My skin has improved in the short time since I stumbled upon you and I look forward to learning more.
@@Panfila303 I don’t have extremely dry , highly sensitive skin or hyper pigmentation. I had dehydrated skin with too many fine lines and wrinkles. I watched videos pertaining to those issues. I’m using a rich cleanser, rice toner, a couple essences ( ginseng, green tea), the glow serum with propolis and niacinamide, , I use a couple products from The Ordinary that fit my skin type, snail mucin, the beta Lucan moisturizer or another barrier cream. But I also bought a mito red light.

Superb video, Kelly! Wow! You've managed to touch on so many well-aging ingredients, far more than any other video than I've seen personally. I love all of them, and you have turned me on to countless products! I particularly your "Buy this, not that" series. :) Just a few things I'd like to add, if you don't mind (over 20 years as an aesthetician and I still give skincare advice regularly. HYDRATION IS KEY to combating and preventing fine lines. K-Beauty Hydrating Toners have been a god-send to me! Whatever your variation is of the 7-Skin Method is.. do it! I usually apply 2-3 layers toner on average, but listen to your skin's needs. My skin is just glowing from this step and I swear by it. I know it's a huge factor for keeping any fine lines on my forehead at bay. Also, training yourself not to frown, nor lift your eyebrows constantly. It can be done! This has the appearance of looking very stressed at all time. There are silicone forehead patches out there that help (SIO makes some), and forehead stickers (Frownies), but you have to be consistent to see results. I just use the green-package Scotch tape (not as sticky) from time to time overnight, and it works for me. lol I'm over 50 and have no wrinkles (not saying there is anything wrong with them, btw), because I am so consistent in my skincare. Another one you mentioned is key. Wearing proper sunglasses always when outdoors, and a hat, if possible! For the neck, do not look down at your devices. Keep your devices elevated and close to eye level. I'm seeing those younger and younger with horizontal necklines. Remember to apply your high SPF to your neck and also decollete, if exposed. I bring all my hydrating toners, serums and moisturizers and SPF right down to my chest. Not sure if this is conducive to K-Beauty, but I'm a huge proponent of using gentle chemical exfoliants regularly (there are several to choose from). That could mean 2-3 weeks for you. I can use lactic acid daily as my first step after cleansing (lactic is both exfoliating and hydrating and is good for drier skin types). Each person's tolerance is difference. This helps to slough off excess dead skin cells and give you a glow, and also helps all your other skin care ingredients penetrate so much better.

This video dropped just in time! Just this last month I noticed my first signs of fine lines now that I am well into my mid 30's this year. Sigh. At least aging is a great excuse to try out new skincare for us beauty addicts! I have been using tretinoin this last year so I am hoping to find new products that will enhance my tret especially as dryness and flaking are part of the journey. Thanks Kelly!

Another excellent cica serum is the jumiso aloe cica serum. It has a high content of cica as well as the active compounds of cica, niacinamide, amino acids, different weights of hylauronic acid and other great ingredients!😃

tip for the cosrx snail mucin! if you are allergic to dust mites or arginine, i suggest staying away from it! it can cause you to break out and it also isnt good for fungal acne
Some good ideas for my next order. I already have some of these ingrediences in my other Korean skin care. I just made an order last week so wish I had waited now. I recently found a kbeauty brand named “Frankly” they have retinol with 0.1%. It had nice lightweight texture. I’m not really good at reading ingredients. I hope you will do review on it. Love your vids!

I really liked both Manyo serums. Actually, if I could choose my top 3 serums of all times I'd choose these two and RNW Ceramide serum. Unfortunately I can't use any of these anymore because my skin started to hate niacinamide right after using Manyo's Galato Niacin 😅
I also have tried the Hygge (been pronouncing it the wrong way all along lol) and I really love the texture! Made my skin well hydrated and really bouncy, tho I didn't see it as a well aging product, made me wana use it again!
I find BOJ eye serum gives me milia in my under eye area. I decided over the last two days to give it a rest because I have never gotten this before in my life. Kbeauty products for some reason clog my pores. I am presently trying a toner that I had to work through because it gave me the least break out, as I continue using it, it has lessen over time, so I will retry my other essences to see. However when it comes to serious actives or transformational products I look to the western world and I spend my money for my results. Retinoids are my fave products and I enjoy what I have used thus far. Nice series!
Jamilia, I hear you!!! All.the Korean toners and sunscreens I've ever used have clogged my pores. So, I'm western skincare all the way. Prescription retinoid, pure L-ascorbic acid, and Cerave moisturizers 😂
@@kendallstark4302 I hear you. I often wondered if anyone else had this issue. Every essence/Toner has done this. I never tried their sunscreens though. It make me hesitant to try their products. Yes, I am a western girl also. Ceravee don't work for me so I give it too my husband who has no issues.

Finally someone that mentioned the two retinol from cosrx, i use the G&G retinal 10 but its not so easy to get in Australia, so i was considering the cosrx oil next, i guess is less potent but it sounds interesting! There is a 2.5 Cos de Baha Rs retinol serum out there but i still need to see the ingredient! Love your work always . Hope you are great Kelly

I loved using the Beauty of Joseon Eye serum but please research better how retinols affect the eyes: I got dry eye and damaged my vision (now it's a bit blurry). And I didn't connect it was the retinal, but turned out it was. Eye doctors don't recommend retinol anywhere near the eyes.

I was watching an older video of yours and noticed you used to not like the Secret Key Starting Treatment. What changed to now make it something you recommend?
Anybody same as me irritating after apply Mary & May Idebeone serum. I apply at night. After wash my face with a simple moisture cream. Only two products. I try many times. Next day my face will become Red and itchy. My face pore is open. Mary and May face cream also irritating my face.
I LOVE beauty of joseon sunscreen but i boight the retinal cream and ig totally wrecked my skin. I had to go through weeks of 0 skincare as a whole layer of skin peeled off basically
I wanted to try the iunik black snail restore cream and serum but they have soy in them 😫 Products that have soy break me out bad and I'm not acne prone
I really like the Hygee natural repair serum I have the big bottle I have been using it for awhile. I love all these ingredients except retinol and vita c it just doesn't get along with my skin at all no matter how hard I tried. Have u tried the Huru wonder black rice and Bukuchol eye cream yet I was looking at it and it kind of looks interesting I see no essential oil or frangerance but I'm not sure if that is 100% all of the ingredients list , I hate when u get it home and all the sudden their are the hidden ingredients you didn't know about . O the Keep Kool brands CEO has been booted out of the company, I just wanted to let you know cause I know how much u love the bamboo toner , I was thinking about trying it now that the issue is gone . I am debating on that or make prem safe me I need a new toner bad running low.
What do you think about the AHC Youth lasting eye cream or its brand's eye creams overall? I bought it for its collagen and peptides.. and if the BOJ eye serum doesn't work out. Turns out.. boj eye serum nice too. But recently i found out it has (a probably low percentage of) retinal too. I noticed the mary & may blackberry serum. Have u tried the mask?
Is it safe to use the BOJ Eye Serum Retinal under the eyes while using tret around the face? My concern is the ingredients will melt into each other throughout the night and cause damage
