And she might have just shortened the fuel pumps life by quite a bit by running it dry like that he emptied it to keep the fuel system clean of foul fuel
Cause she ran it dry .. if you notice no battery check fluid before you do anything she just shortened the life of that fuel pump by at least a year with that bs she did ..
You really think it was because of her? It was so no one would steal it, not because of the girlfriend. He probably knew about what she was doing, this is just a way to get more views as people freak out about the girl
no way, running the fuel pump with no fuel can fuck it up, i'd rather someone just started the car i wouldn't care that much. try just hiding the key if you don't want someone to
@@MV-ri7zu i mean toyota was still throwing carbs onto engines well into the 90s they were rare though since fuel injection was becoming more popular with that said though im almost certain no supra came with a carb lmao
are you're ears that sensitive when just a muffled recorded sound was probably 100-115db and formatted then transferred to your phone speakers that most likely only outputs 60db?
@@Yukanhayt-Mhenow my guy the fuel pump needs fuel running threw it to lubricate it or it burns out. It's a literal pump that pumps liquid fuel into your engine. Same as a water pump but designed for fuel.
@@Mattjohnson793 aeromotive, Weldon magnafuel and fuel lab can cost close to $1,500 😂. I use a 525 in my tank but I also use a 750 magnafuel which costs 800. I know this from experience. My pump got starved before I could get to a gas station and it smoked my pump. It only cost $150 to rebuild 😂. But to be honest with you, I'm switching to a belt drive pump. These inline pumps suck. They fail and they are expensive. When I redo my fuel system I'm going to do an in-tank 525 to get things moving and then I'm going to do a belt drive fuel pump. I'm making 1,500 to the tire right now and I am out of fuel.
@@barryhallsack8852 2 525s. I’m telling you lol. Also I’ve never even looked at anything other than walbro. Well kinda. If someone requests it I’ll do it. Side note I own a hot rod shop so my c10 is advertisement. With those 2 525s I actually think I’m running out of fuel. Even though I shouldn’t. Any suggestions. Because I’m about to go up to a 3.5l whipple and be making around 1700-1800.
@@Mattjohnson793My tuner told me something about the 525s not liking lower amperage and it can damage the pump very quickly. To be honest with you, like I said all these in line pumps have given me a lot of headache through my builds. I just want to switch to a pump that can handle any type of fuel and not fail 😂.
@@thegeeks16yeah I better hope my 1000hp car that burns fuel like a boat would have a good reading gauge or else ima have to push it to the gas station? What u said made no sense
@@user-rj7zv2gv4p most shitboxes and/or project cars I see on the web don't have a working dash at all, so yeah. And literally, the guy probably didn't drain the battery and fuel... The fuel evaporated and the battery naturally drained.
Nah he didnt want anyone touching it. This was back in the 90s one of my bros had a boosted nissan. He never let anyone drive it. It was his baby. One day his gf needed to go to the store her car was gone. She hoped in his little nissan "how bad could it be" "it cant be that fast". She lost it leaving the street .she made it about 400 ft and ended up in a ditch the car was never the same.
@@Yukanhayt-Mhenow ? I’m confused on what you’re talking about because different octane has the same colored pump where I’m from however diesel is ALWAYS green.
@@bizkurt99flex fuel systems are actually very popular. It being on fully empty helped too. Car should do the brain work itself if it does have an aftermarket flex fuel system. Doubt it but if it does it should be ok

I'm a mechanic and into cars since i was a kid, i never understood what's the point of all those crap switches for turning stuff on, do you want to look different with those 2 dollar switches taking up your dash? Even on custom ECUs and even Speeduino automates pump function or we make custom microcontrolled based circuits for controlling it along with other things that work automatically and look seamless.
@@atomicsmith haha i'd rather not to in a car cause i know behind those switches there's crude wiring hiding and all these basic things i've learnt on electronics when i was a kid, for me when i see these it makes me think of someone was unable to implement something better, i've even made logic circuits using relays back then that even a so simple of circuitry will completely automate these functions. 😂 I've even seen things like manual only e-fan switches, i mean what's the point in turning a fan on completely manually where you already have the data and circuit to do this automatically and wire a ground bypass toggle button to turn it on whenever you want? No they'd rather turn it on manually the whole time with that fancy 2$ rocker switch on the dash except of that one time they'll forget about it and blow a head gasket. As if someone can observe coolant temperatures, operate the fan on and off and drive at the same time simultaneously, instead of having a circuit to monitor the temperature thousands of times per second and operate the fan accordingly. 😂😂😂
There for a lot of safety precautions, in case there is a 🔥 you can stop the fuel pump manually. Obviously, for anti-theft. The manual fan switch is to help with cooling, especially while being parked or at slower speeds. Do you really want me to explain every little detail, or just have common sense.
physically, it's filling up electricity, and electricity is an energy and energy has mass, which means she's filling it up with electricity, and it is the right word.
It's just an electric motor spinning a fan blade, they aren't designed to be liquid cooled but it's a bonus. Nothing wrong with it dry running realistically but it's one of "those things" we all say when it happens and cringe
She probably looked it up on some RU-vid channel. Being he left both batteries drained and made sure the tank was on E. That was done intentionally. Being if he wanted her to use it he would of left a gas can in his shop. Instead of her having to go out and get some herself. If not left at least 1 live battery.
The end is worth it! This is my first time ever trying out the microphones in a video, so it is a little bit awkward and I need to play around with settings on microphones to level noise.

Did you check to see if he pulled the ignition fuse/relay? I’d have definitely done that, especially if my girlfriend had the exact same car but just with 500 less horsepower… Just sayin !
