Why Nala’s Mom Disappeared During Scar’s Reign Of The Pridelands 

I think the reason why Sarafina isn't present after Scar became king is because she probably died from starvation since there was a drought without food or water and maybe that's what led Nala to go find help, because Sarafina was her mother. Also i think Mheetu was born in the same litter as Nala because if Scar became mates with Sarafina it would make Nala and Simba half-cousins because back then Scar and Mufasa used to be brothers but it was retconned due to the Mufasa movie where they are adoptive brothers

In the sequel, there was a lioness very similar in appearance to Sarafina.She was the lioness who says, "My how you've grown" when Kiara goes on her first hunt. The actress who played Sarafina in the first movie is the same actress who played the unconfirmed character.

People have to remember that scar is super devious and devilish so no matter how much you slice it

I actually always believed that Ni and Sarafina were Nala and Mheetu's parents.

A very interesting theory well done, but you know I find interesting if that if all this did happen Scar and Sarafina did get together, love each other and did have Mheetu, the result after the battle would be something to see, because imagine after Scar falls off pride rock and Simba hears Mheetu say well the same thing he said when his dad fell, because even though Scar crime was reveled he still Mheetu dad and well Simba will have another problem to deal with because unlike him Mheetu would have seen the whole thing and well maybe Mheetu will vow revenge.

Sarafina and Scar were more then friends when they were cubs they fell in love but when Scar got his scar from his father he started to act different like no one loves him or cared for him Sarafina was the only one who loved him and cared about clearly Nala had no idea that her mother had feelings for Scar

He's crazy wickedly evil devilish the question is what would he not do to keep him from going taking the throne before and after Mufasa's death

Since we don’t see Sarafina or Zera, or Zira’s cubs during the battle for Pride Rock, it is possible they were hidden somewhere in order to keep their cubs safe. Male lions are prone to killing any cubs they didn’t sire when they take over. Simba didn’t do this, that we know of, but I can see it as a fear. Sarafina could have seen a strange, and physically stronger looking lion come towards Pride Rock and immediately gathered Zira, their cubs and booked it. Maybe with the intention of checking back later to see who won, or taking it as a sign to leave. According to the sequel, Zira at least checked back, discovered Simba in charge and Scar dead and proceeds to blame Simba for everything. Sarafina might have been killed by Zira when she didn’t dislike Simba enough, or she could have split from the fanatical Zira before the banishment, taking her chances out alone verse staying to see if the new king would let her cub live. I think I like the idea of Nala’s mother still out there, with an adult son, or just the son and having a Black Panther situation where he could come back and be all “Hey auntie “, and have a whole discussion about Succession and family , get a bit more the pitiful backstory to Scar and his side of things before he was driven off the deep end, have the son be updated on the acts Scar did to become king. His ruling methodology . Very duet leaving it up to the audience on who is right, dose might make right, order of birth , or competence heart and intelligence? Ultimately the son wouldn’t be another Zira, or Killmounger, but just want the best lion to rule . A check to balance Simba’s ego or his too eager to follow traditions bc father shadow. Afterall Sarafina seemed pretty level headed but not too formal, she probably would have raised any cub to be similar .

I like the idea of scar being Nala dad and all but in a deleted scene in the lion king, scar sings a song about how he needs too make “Nala my QUEEN” so it is u luckily scar would be nalas father

I think sarafina and scar did have a cub and sarafina did not turn her back to scar but instead when simba returned in fear for the cub she took him and run to protect him from simba and killing the cub

See we knew his true attentions from the very beginning that is true but if there was another side of this we are all sadly mistaken

I think Scar's son was repurposed into Kovu in the sequel As an adult he looks very similar to scar even having the same eyes and nose shape

According to some theories, Nala had a younger sister named Nadra. She should be born before Mufasa's death.

Maybe she was one of the lionnesses who fought the hyenas or Zira might have become jealous of Mheetu wanting one of her children to inherit the throne and we saw a lioness help Sarabi maybe that lion is Sarafina

I like the idea that Saraphina and Scar had a relationship. Whether she really loved him or not. I would think she would keep it secret from Nala. Zira would be sooo ticked off at this. You know she would know about it. She sent Vitani to spy on Kovu, so why wouldn't she send one of her lionesses to spy on Scar? She was obsessed with him after all.
