@@Sleepy0173 yeah, but it's not just that guy in the archetype. Older ones like Aquarian Alessa, and Evocator Chevalier had a condition and a cost respectively. One of the best ways they could fix Gemini monsters is to change how there 2nd summon is treated, make an effect Gemini monster treated as 2, e.g. An effect Gemini monster can be used as 2 link material or 2 xyz or even 2 tributes. Also some Gemi-dulums that have their pendulum effects be like catalyst field.

A concept for gemini: a link 1 that takes 1 Gemini monster and allows you to summon some other kind of gemini monster from the deck with a different name or like the same level, and its considered an effect monster but cannot use its effect until Gemini summoned. This way gemini decks that open 5 geminis can at least go into anaconda/dragoon or halq or something

I have a soft spot for them, what I wish is that they just give Gemini monsters just a boost. Like let them have an effect that is based off of how it is summoned, with no this is treated as a normal monster that just hurts geminis in general. Like a Gemini monster that if it is normal summoned normal summon a Gemini monster on the field/hand, with an added bonus effect being that if it you control a Gemini monster special summon if from the hand. Just give Gemini two effect, no treated as a normal restriction, because I think that is what is holding back Gemini monsters so much especially Chemcritters. Another think like you said is they need xyz to only need one Gemini as material to summon. But one thing I thought of is give them a rank two xyz that on destruction/removal from the field normal summons Gemini monsters used as material or in the graveyard like how in science matter can not be created or destroyed.

Once per turn you can detach 1 XYZ Material and banish 1 Gemini monster from the graveyard and if you do you can destroy 1 card on your opponent’s side of the Field then if you do that you can attach 1 Gemini monster in your banished pile who’s effects have been activated to this monster. What that card theme really needed was a method to let you special summon them from your hand using maybe a continuous spell or a field spell. Like maybe it was where it was you can special summon one gemini monster from your hand or graveyard by discarding 1 gemini monster. That would of helped them by a decent margin. Considering I've been out of the game for years and just recently learned about this archetype through Legacy of the Duelist, this marks the second time I've thought about these cards in my entire life.

I was a Fire/Gemini player when the SD first came out (and still have that deck) so I was pretty hype when the rebirth of Gemini was announced... only to then be forgotten pretty quickly once again. Exact same thing happened with Magnet Warriors and the other decks I love so pretty sure I'm cursed now.

I think the last time I thought of them was when I'm pretty sure TGs anime made a video on them

Saw them today in duel links and someone played them at my locals a year and a half ago

I recently bought some Invasion: Vengeance boosters that were lying around at a card shop and pulled one of the main deck monsters. Had to think really hard until I remembered them lol

There's a fusion monster which turns every Gemini-monster on the field into an effect monster. I've always wanted to try it out in Duel Links, but I never did.

i literally only remember these because gore had them as his challenge deck in legacy of the duelist link evolution

Chemiceitters were one of the first decks I built GoPro so I remember them more than most people

one would expect geminis to have cracked effects since theyre so costly to use but nope. Either weak or medicore effects

Gemini's: Why do you give us almost no support? Konesus: I give my least support to my sickest card designs.

Chemicritters always seemed so cool to me, and I even built the deck. It just makes me sad they never worked

The last time I thought about them was when searching for splashable rank 8 XYZ monsters for my Rikka deck.

Chemicritters are definitely a fun batch of cards for the Gemini Pool. For Gemini based cards, they’re not half bad.

I remember Chemicritters every day that I try to make a Red-Eyes deck using Catalyst Field. Sadly Konami ditched Chemicritters in favor of tying to Gearfried and FIRE Warriors with the SD-R.

Some of them are in DL. They haven't released all of the Critter cards yet, but definitely would appreciate the field spell coming at the very least

I actively use Chemicritters online. It's one of my favorite niche decks. I'm actually a huge fan of the gemini mechanic.

i remembered being excite about Chemichritters because it would be like that guy from gx who had an alchemy themed deck. then when they came out i stopped caring that was the last time i thought about them
