Thanks Jamie, 73! No disrespect is intended by the reference to the other RU-vid video maker I don't actually mention. Just want to state the facts of NPC on this radio and why it should not be used.
When I want to be clean and clear, the NPC is Off. But when I want to be "Loud, Messy and Obnoxious" I turn it on. I'm sorry I did not make that easier to understand. Take care Scott, 73
No need to apologize about that. You do a great job! It's a shame that they put a feature like that on the radio that does nothing to improve it or make any beneficial change. I just wanted to show what it actually does and try to educate a few. It's all in fun on the radio, but it seriously doesn't help you any by turning it on. 73
That was an awesome video Scott I certainly appreciate it. Yeah I’ve not ever thought much of that npc stuff. Never had it done to a radio of mine . That’s gonna be one of the nicest radios I’ve ever owned. Thanks again sir. 73’s
I've never turn mine on you said leave it off so I have😅 I run a Rm203p I didn't think it would like it too much. But it's a great radio got all the features that I want I've got the quad 6 an the new quad 5 and a Lincoln 2 + I hate the receive on that radio. but the Aries is my favorite 73 great video.

Yeah that's a good thought. I never thought of that. Definitely something to investigate. I think normally it comes with it off from the factory. Definitely worth looking into.
@@ScottsRadios Thank you very much for this video, you really got me thinking when you mentioned and showed the NPC function and what it does when the radio transmits.. I'll get into this with my friend and let you know the outcome.. he is just settling into his new house and will be back up and running soon.. I have a feeling from the testing we did that this is the problem he was having.. I'll let you know either way the moment we test again.. thanks again for a really good video. 73
