This season 2 doesn't deserve this much of backlash. It still have decent animation with good storyline.

I also watched both of seasons but barely noticed any of bad animations. Both seasons are good.

The animation of s2 was also above average. But got over hated due to its peak animation and storyline in s1, fans expected s2 to match the same level which made them disappointed but S3 trailer dropped 2 weeks ago... And S3 is a banger.

And if we talk about animation then MAD house literally brought some best animators on season 1 project. Most of them are retired now, also we have the info that JC Staff was in hurry on season 2. They got too much projects, so they didn't made it very good. Now season 3 has been announced, so hope for the best! 🤞🏻

Season 2 is not that bad i liked and enjoyed some best parts

i respectfully disagree. Season 1 was the introductory season that needed to garner attention. Season 1 had one shot villians whose only job was to mildly terrrorize the viewer and wonder if Saitama can really kill those villians. And then Saitama does kill them and showcases his strength. Season 2 was the second layer where villains are more developed in terms of their story arc - both Garou and God. We also get to know a lot more about other S rank heros like Tatsumaki, Bang, etc. Season 2 gives us a more precise calibration of how strong Saitama truly is and gives us an indication of why a being like 'God' is uncomfortable with Saitama's presence on the earth. The introduction of S1 rank hero and the transformations of Garou by merely touching God's hand is a trailer of how strong Garou will become when he becomes desperate. This is a very exciting foray into season 3. Animations are actually better, smoother and more detailed than Season 1 - to be honest. I've been reading OPM manga since 2016 when just one book was 1500-1000 INR. Season 2 animation does fair justice to the manga and i was quite happy watching it. Your review appears to be a little superficial as if designed to merely grab eyeballs with the title. Even so, please keep up the good work. I just dropped a few of my opinions - hope it does not offend you. Best Regards!

One punch man 2 was not a failure but in terms of animation it was a down grade. J.c staff was the animation studio behind season 2 and I just heard that the season 3 is also going to be animated by the same studio that is j.c staff. I'm utterly disappointed 😔 but I'm looking forward to it.😊
