Giant Hunting: • Why You Should Hunt Gi...
Dungeons: • THIS Is Why You Should...
The party system is a core function in any MMO, but in Flyff the system goes much deeper than that. There's more to being in a party than the game might initially let you understand, to the point where it's a convoluted mess with a bunch of features that most starters wouldn't know about!
In this video I discuss parties in general, the features that they have, how to utilize them and how to ALWAYS find a party that will be helpful to you as well! And by the end of this, I hope you also understand how important parties are to your leveling journey!

There are legit benefits to having a perm party. Ideally, it's an ADV party you don't have to re-make or buy the next day. It has its place, and personally I think that is if you're constantly running dungeons solo or with friends. It beats the time it takes to prepare every day & maximizes your profit from drops. It's absolutely worth it if it's not being used for casual leveling/grinding.

Interesting viewpoint, thanks for sharing! If strictly used for dungeons from the get-go, it indeed would probably be more productive to use the scroll than buying/creating a new party every day. Probably not to the thousands of levels though x)

What are your thoughts on SnS/1v1 knights?
@emenalus
@emenalus Месяц назад
Quite good, honestly! I haven't had the pleasure of trying out them yet, but from what I've seen so far and what people have been telling me, it's a much better class than the price tag lets understand. And because they're the 2nd top DPS with end-game gear only falling behind blades, they've also got great potential at least in the current patch x) Whether you'd go for SnS or 1v1 usually depends on the weaponry that's available at that level range, but if both swords and two-handed weapons are valid, they seem to be quite the same in power. At early stages (60 and 75) SnS seems to be the way to go as the 2-handed weapons are quite underwhelming and at 90 on the other hand, the sword stats aren't good for 1v1 combat so the 2-handed weapons become a better alternative. It's a pretty balanced class and there isn't really a stage where you'd skip a weapon, so that's also a point there :) I'd say that if you can get the gear for cheap or if you like yourself a character that's easy to also build to be quite robust, 1v1 Knight is definitely the way to go! Definitely recommend trying it, all the feedback I've gotten from people is pretty positive so far ^^

Forever parties are important since the higher the level for the party the higher the yield of the exp boost.

Really? Never heard that one before, need to look into it better. But even if that's the case, is it worth sacrificing party buffs over and buying the scroll for it? The longevity of points for an average active scrolled party is not more than a day :o

Can you make a video that compares all jobs in terms of: Equipmentdependence AOE potential 1o1 Potential Weak phases and Power Spikes Consumable dependence Solo Dungeon Farming Giant Farming etc?
@emenalus
@emenalus Месяц назад
Could definitely be doable! I'll see if I get a chance to make a guide like that, but it might take time ^^

@@emenalus Im sure it will. Thats a big project. But i think its necessary to underline the differences between the classes to understand and bond with your character even more. It will be very helpful for new and old players to understand the strenght and weaknesses of every class so they can pick the optimal jobs for every task.
@emenalus
@emenalus Месяц назад
@@matorum4654 Yeah, I agree with that sentiment! I've given some short descriptions on the advanced job classes in the earlier job guides that I've made, but they certainly don't give the full picture and none of the classes are certainly built to be equal. I've been thinking about making these short crash courses about how each class plays out and how to gear them for each playstyle, but I'm currently working on compiling everything for an ultimate moneymaking guide - so I don't think I'll make these happen anytime soon! :) That being said, is there any particular class or particular playstyle that you're looking into knowing more about or were you thinking about the need for that in general? ^^

hmm party... i don't know mate... i love the idea but i dislike the idea of RM buffs having to be a must for any class and having to be a beggar of buffs =/
@emenalus
@emenalus Месяц назад
Well those are two different things altogether - you can party up with anyone, whether it's just your friend following you around or maybe even playing together with you - the partner in question doesn't necessarily have to be a RM! And like I said, some parties could even accept solos and you could still benefit by yourself :) On that note though, I understand your pain with setting yourself up with a partner. Ringmasters are quite the big deal regardless of what your level is and it becomes increasingly important later down the road, not just a convenience. The sad truth to the matter is that the majority are used to just making their alternate accounts for a Ringmaster and still playing the game by themselves, rather than looking for a partner within the game. So it's either gonna be a time-consuming job to get a partner each time you're looking to level up or you'll have to take the unorthodox route yourself. I can't say I find the appeal in multiboxing myself, but I've found having the option always available necessary if I just wanna go and enjoy the game - hope you'll find peace in that matter as well :/
@MsTatakai
@MsTatakai Месяц назад
@@emenalus Exactly that... =/ i think the buffs shouldn't be a MUST in this game
@emenalus
@emenalus Месяц назад
@@MsTatakai People should've just never learned to play by themselves. I think promoting co-operative gameplay is nice and core to MMOs, and realistically you don't have to build meta to make your character effective x) It's more thinking out of the box, your stat points are meant for other things too than maxing out STR if the rest don't check out ;D Buffs just make things easier and in a grindy game like this people stick WAY too much into convenience. Kind of ruined the whole point of playing co-operatively :/
