Inb4 I get mad Clippers fans commenting.
Daryl Morey put his money where his mouth was. He had a plan for the Sixers. People were skeptical, all-nba level players don't move via free agency anymore, etc. etc. but that didn't matter. Morey stayed the course and ended up getting the best guy on the free agent market. Paul George is about as good of a talent play as you could make. Gave up nothing to add a quality two-way wing that works well with Maxey and Embiid. Everyone will rightfully have skepticism come playoff time but basketball wise this trade makes perfect sense, even if PG is 34.

Getting Caleb Martin on that contract is such a steal, and if he solidifies himself as the 5th starter that's even gonna be a better contract. And as much as I love Paul Reed, getting Drummond for cheaper was a savvy move too. Team definitely still has some flaws (would like one more playmaker and a solid 4) but I love that their core three is set and the the front office can focus on adding to the roster over the next 2-3 years at trade deadlines etc.

@@slyhooper7694 Not even to mention the young guys the sixers have are underrated bro Mccain, Council, and Bona are all buckets and looked great in the summer league game especially Council which is the backup sf so rn the bench is mccain at the 1, eric gordon, council, bona, and drummond this is actually a really solid team and morey can still add that's what's crazy

Neither can Embiid. They are rolling the dice. So be it. Caleb Martin, Oubre, Drummond.... more great role players that kick ass....this is a solid ass team.
