Just spent a week in Venice on vacation. My family and I loved it. My advice is to stay at Kon Tiki Inn. The managers are terrific people and they make their guests feel welcome. Old Salty Dog restaurant is a great place to eat. We went there twice. Dockside and Big Mike's Pizza are also excellent restaurants. We are also from Wisconsin and we are talking about moving to Venice. It's a great place to be!
I knew I recognize the guy. I remember watching some of his B Ball videos. How is the basketball facilities in the area? Looked on Google maps and only saw a ymca with reviews that said they barely ever have open basketball. Always reserved for pickle ball. I was thinking of moving down from clearwater and have a 6 yr old son and I definitely need access to a gym with courts.
