It was more like a gathering and discussion where the congregation could speak and ask questions and even debate to a certain degree. The men were the ones allowed to do that in public. In those settings, it was out of order for the women to speak out in question of the speaker or what was being taught. If she had questions, she was to seek the answer from her cover (husband) in private, not in public. That is what that scripture speaks of.

While I am guilty and singing and loving that song and have no intention of casting a spell on anyone, we have to mindful of what we sing, the words we choose to hold on to and immulate. I have been saying that for years about rap songs and the energy they send out.
For me, it’s just a metaphor and I don’t take it seriously. I will start to have a problem with a song if they directly or indirectly reference God/biblical elements in a blasphemous manner.

Agreed, there did seem to be a spiritual difference. She wants to believe her friend has gone on to be with the Lord. But it seems, in reality, to say that with certainty you would have to ignore the other side of Whitney.
