I like this concept of shame, and that quote was amazing. Modernity always tries to say that we shouldn't feel ashamed. If you are gay you shouldn't be ashamed. If you are fat you shouldn't felel ashamed.
Why shoukd you be ashamed of being fat? Most people that are fat have medical conditions, only a small portion of them is due to excessive eating / junk eating
People don't have anything better to do. That's why. You are one of the very few conservative voices on this platform that is calm, rational and respectful. Although, I am a moderate myself, I regularly check your content to understand the conservative Islamic perspective on things. Unlike certain conservative muslim youtubers, you don't bother with theater and chasing views and 'destroying xyz'. You stay true to your beliefs.I have grown to admire and respect your approach overtime. Keep up the good work. May Allah SWT bless us all with guidance and peace. Ameen.
I've watched a lot of Islamic topics on youtube lately, but amongst many youtubes I found brother's Saajid Akhlaq and Adaab fascinating, he's very calm and respectful, I could listen to him all day. May Allah keep him strong in what's he doing.
Assalamou aalaykom wa rahmatoullah, brother a lot of people really love you and the content that you do! I hope to see you in this world and the next incha'Allah may Allah grant us paradise
Jazak Allah Khair, Brother!!! This reminds me to look at my own behaviour online and offline and be mindful of Allah SWT. May Allah SWT continue to guide us on the straight path, Ameen!!!❤
I’m not sure if the brother fits the profile but some of the brothers that are making public posts seem to get offended when someone in the comments disagrees with them.
Don't be sadden. Yk what happened to people of Nuh(pbuh), moses(pbuh), isa(pbuh). The only thing matters is we get benefited from you. May Allah get you Jannatul Ferdous for your efforts even tho havin free will
Brother Saajid though I agree with you generally, I think that you’ve missed a major point, I’ve seen many “influencers”, “Dawah” brothers and sisters, and “activists” and “reverts” when advised privately by Muslims instead of publically have proceeded to misconstrue and manipulate their audience using that private conversation, exposing the person who was advising them privately for something completely made up, I’ve seen revert sisters in particular do this very vindictively posting screenshots scratching out the name but leaving their faces (to put up a pretense of being just and fair and innocent yet spitefully puts her sisters face on a platform for thousands to view and ogle at), I’ve seen this happen and when you actually reach out to the advisee and ask them what the conversation was actually about, the screenshots that person shares that have the entire conversation changes your mind completely about the exchange and you realise you’ve been manipulated, the “influencer” purposely tried to shame a brother or a sister who was advising them privately out of spite by making up a conplete lie. Now I know you’re on the side of the influencer and we the audience, but you need to show fairness here, wrong is wrong
