Watching the pros hit big forehand’s from around the corner and trying to copy?
-
Hell, your forehand is probably amazing when you don’t have to move.
-
You probably have great power and spin. However, you struggle to find the room and space to use it when the ball comes to your middle and backhand side.
-
You probably have an amazing one from the forehand side, but you struggle.
-
But playing a forehand topspin from the backhand side, middle and forehand side are all different.
-
On the forehand side you don’t have any body angle to work with. Hence, playing with a more square on straight stance works.
-
From the middle and ESPECIALLY from around the backhand side, you need body angle more than ever!
-
Watch this video to understand why side by side movement is NO WAY NEAR as important as the amount of space/angle you create with your body, allowing yourself the space and torque needed to hit that ball at its best capacity.
