I really enjoyed the game and the gameplay felt so cute and fresh. I can only hope this means more great things for Peach in the future, and hopefully some new mechanics in Smash Bros.
i was on the fence on whether to get this game or not cuz of all the negative reviews calling it a boring baby game but this kirby comparison is perfect, i loved super princess peach, but mostly cuz of peach herself as a character not cuz the gameplay was amazing, i think im def gonna get this game now and not worry so much about its worth in difficulty new subscriber !
I’ve not finished it yet but I’m really disappointed in the controls like they just feel clunky and not very responsive. Like the rest is fine (so far) but I really thought it would be more satisfying to control :[ I played the original super princess peach on the ds and I know they’re not really the same genre but that one aged very well in my opinion because it’s so fun to control peach with her emotions and the art style is still adorable almost two decades later. This one I feel like people won’t appreciate in 10 years to be frank. (Also I really don’t like the weird random sound effect when she jumps like why is it slightly muffled? And why is it almost as loud as her voice..it feels like they used all the budget for the graphics alone and art direction 😭)
It was disappointing. It should not have been $60. It should be $40 tops. I played all the levels in under 4 hours. Are you kidding me? Wonder took me around 10.
