I know you're being sarcastic but when they list oils like that they do so to sensor the exact amounts of each oil used in the recipe. Whether or not the oils are "inflammatory" are for satan to decide. Personally sunflower and safflower oils are good for my body construct. If your body is not used to making it's own saturated fat, it might difficult to not get it from outside sources (satan will most likely count it as sin).
When I stopped eating those seed oils it was like I stopped taking poison, it was that big a difference. No more acne, no more bleeding gums, no more peeling skin such as eczema. No more inflammation water bubbles under the skin.
My skin is so dry, it’s probably because I’ve been mindlessly consuming these seed oil products, not to mention the abrasive nature of a lot of body products.
Totally agree!!! It will say Organic, but you have to see what oil is used... very deceptive, you must read labels!!! Avacado oil is the only one I cook with. Boulder Canyon chips are the best!!!
Bobby is so right. Wife and I had not had chips for over two years, Friend came over and brought FRITO chips. They really made our stomachs hurt. I think it was the oil they used and the fact we have nearly stopped eating these oils. It is hard to find anything without them as Bobby showed.
Bobby! Could you do a video on products for hormonal balance for women? It’s such a struggle, wonder if your wife has any recommendations for women coming off the pill and wanting to naturally balance hormones (and how to fix all the pcos symptoms etc). Thank you! Awesome videos :)
Bobby I want you to know how I feel so much gratitude for what you bring to the world. You have helped and others choose to buy foods that are healthy, learn about whats not and why. I tell a lot of people about your app and your channel. Seriously you are a blessing to humanity and love you for helping us.. ❤🙏
Bobby is my hero, I was walking around thinking i was eating “healthy” foods because they market it as heathy, but he brings the truth. It used to be overwhelming but his app really helps!
My husband was with me the other day. It was such an eye opening experience for him when I was pointing out why I didn’t buy all these different chips, and I am not an expert by any means.
I do appreciate what you do. I have learned a lot. (Could you be more gentle when handling the products you talk about. I imagine you go back and -face- straighten the item's). Love the app. Keep the info coming. Thank-You!
I'm glad your talking about this I was literally falling apart I didn't realizey diet for 30 years consisted of the same thing with these bad fats and seed oils
My diet was horrible for 30 years too and now I have cancer and heart disease. Had to have emergency heart surgery at 47yo. Much of our food supply is toxic and the good stuff lacks the high level of nutrients they had just 50 years ago do to poor soil management.
@@trentonharris7676 never heard of it. I’m still working but it’s been a mental as well as physical struggle. I let my doctor at MD Anderson guide my treatment plan for the cancer. I actually have a heart MD at the Cleveland clinic in Ohio as well as a local one in Texas. So I have the “best care” money can buy lol.
All these inflammatory oils are used in restaurants and fast food joints as well. Foods that are deep-fried are the worst. I highly doubt they change the oil in the fryer often because like you said, profits over people.
CVS brand olive oil popcorn is just salt, popcorn, and olive oil- usually a little pricey but they run sales once every couple weeks where they’re $2 a bag. They’re my go-to dorm snack since the CVS is so close
You are heaven-sent. Without your hard work I think a lot of us would be clueless about much of the things that we consume. I appreciate everything you do and I’m glad I came across you videos.😊
There was a report that said expeller pressed Canola oil was ok to use, but researching I found that to be false.. The biggest difference for me in changing to the non inflammatory oils was seeing immediate results with my joints... The best oils are more expensive but the benefits are well worth it.. Boulder Canyon Avocado & sea salt is my favorite chip ..Unfortunately some of their flavored chips are mixed with bad oils...Always check the ingredient list...
Who owns Late July Snacks? Campbell's ...mmmm..NOT good! Who owns SkinnyPop? Hershey's. Annie's = General Mills. Stay away from anything they make...& it's a ton of products.
1) How do you know the "Olive oil" they claim, is actually Olive oil and not a seed oil mixture? 2) Why are you promoting chips==HIGH CARBS, and then 2 minutes later you are suddenly worried about SUGAR in some granola shit??...both are low nutrient high carn garabage
So glad I found your videos! The roasted and unsalted cashews I brought have two ingredients cashews and rice bran oil. Is rice bran oil in this group of oil to stay away from? Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
I read lables all the time now. But im a child of the 60s 70s and sometimes I want a damn dorito, taco from taco bell or a piece if cake or a cookie! And I will not make a healthy cake: a. Because i know it won't turn out, and b. It will taste like crap. So i give in. I do spend an extra 2 bucks for a bag of tortilla chips with the expeller pressed oil. Organic salsa. I buy org vegetables and fruit now and cook only with olive oil from Greece. I could do a better job with dairy and i yse coconut sugar in coffee instead if regular. I do feel better but still struggle wanting things to taste good all the time otherwise i feel cheated. And i really get mad when i soend money on food that is NOT GOOD or fresh and that is happening more and more.
There is no solid consensus based on current research that seed oils are inflammatory. They are more prone to oxidizing and may contain some trans fats, but ultimately they are not that bad. Research on oils is incredibly mixed and NUANCED. Example: eating sunflower oil was found to be less inflammatory than butter, but sunflower oil is more inflammatory than olive oil. It’s just about moderation and making overall more choices that lead to less inflammation.
Love your content, but I would hate to shop after your walk thru. Last few videos, you roughed up some of these products. Chips and packaged meat don't stand a chance 😬
Thank you for doing these videos Bobby. I share them with my family and friends in hopes they make the little changes about the oils they use that make such a huge difference.
People need to start writing those Companies and tell them you won't buy their products because of how they process it🥴. Money talks!!! Stand together and change the World. They only care about money!!!. Stand together!!!
Hey Bobby, so good example of how much more careful I am looking for these processed oils I was going to buy this bag of pre-done croutons over at Costco and on the front it said but again devil in the details in the ingredients and it was either safflower or sunflower oil in the back, and I immediately put them back. I decided I can just make my own croutons worth a little bit of extra work to use some good single origin, olive oil, and some nice basil.
For snacks, here are some options : Stick to raw vegetables like celery sticks and carrot sticks and fruit like apple slices and pear slices and orange slices and bananas and berries and don't put any peanut butter or nut butters on your carrot sticks or celery sticks or dip or anything on them. For a snack. You can also try to eat cut cucumbers, and cut broccoli too.. Look for unsalted nuts packets, at the grocery store such as almonds, cashews, walnuts, pistachios and make your own trail mix at home..don't buy the readymade trail mix packets as these already have the salt or sodium and sugar mixed in. Eat a bowl of plain white yogurt. Don't buy those cup yogurts with fruit at the bottom as those have too much sugar. Don't buy fruit or fruit cocktail that comes in a can or jar as those have too much sugar and are in a sugar syrup. Don't buy ready to eat bars. These maybe convenient, but these also have alot of sugar, sodium and fat. Don't buy any packaged cookies, cakes, pastries, candy, chips as these all have lot of sugar and high sodium.
Sometimes you have to make concessions the sunflower oil is the best of the worst. It does not do as much damage as canola or soy And if you have a healthy diet negative effects will be minimal.
I was laid off from my job and cooked all of my meals for 3 months. Went back to work, purchased organic, non-gmo and couldn't figure out why my body wasn't reacting the same and I was struggling again with my weight and wellness. Had no idea the oils made such a difference.
I can't answer for Bobby, but my belief is olive oil is still better....as long as you buy Extra Virgin, AND make sure it's single source, i.e, from a single country instead of multiple countries that use moldy olives. It will have the origin somewhere on the label. Single source EVOO is good from California, Italy and I believe there's one from Turkey. These can be found pretty much anywhere, just have to read labels. Even Aldi's has at least one. I personally use the organic EVOO from Costco. Good price, lasts forever. Hope this helps!
Thank you Bobby. My Ukranian friends get Unprocessed Sunflower oil from the Republic of Georgia. Have you ever tried any of this ? It actually supports Ukraine and I would definitely try it if you have looked at it. Does it cost more? Yes, but I would get it.
Yes I was going to mention about this. I think the sunflower oils that come from Russia, Ukraine, and Turkiye are different. It's all we use here in Russia. I can sometimes buy for 99₽. In America, I can buy at the Russian grocery store for $9. I think it's better than American vegetable oil or canola oil. Of course, coconut or avocado is most healthy but we can't always afford.
bobby do you have proof that you can share that these oils are actually inflammatory? I've looked and can't find reputable studies showing the inflammatory effects of these oils. It would help me a lot, thanks
My thoughts are that anything highly processed, especially with a long ingredients list....is horrible for you. There's a reason why there is such a prevalence of obesity, diseases and cancer, even mental issues. I believe a lot of it is related to how poor quality most food is. Not to mention the chemicals in personal care, cookware, etc. Quite scary actually!
@@patriciaholloway . Everything evil starts at the top, 1st our government allows it because the rich corporations from the food industry are funding their political campaigns, 2nd the FDA approves the use of this toxic ingredients because they're getting their share from this corporations too and 3d this is good for the pharmaceuticals the more people get sick the more money they make prescribing dangerous drugs that don't heal anything but cause more health issues in the long run. And doctors are not educated in nutrition so they can't help us ,the sad thing is that the majority of people when they reach their 50s and start getting really sick because of eating unhealthy they think is normal because they're getting old and they don't take the time to do the research on why they're getting sick, when I first decided to try eating healthy I didn't know what to expect and didn't even think it would help me with my health issues but after just a few months I started feeling better, my all year round allergies went away like magic and even my heartburn issues went away and my energy level triple, I now feel more energetic in my 60s than I did in my 50s and actually better than my 40s too, is like rewinding time back to my 30s.
Just about every nutrition doctor here on RU-vid will confirm that for you, the medical field will tell you that organic seed oils are fine but then again they know very little about nutrition and their advice is what's causing so many to get sick .
Bobby, what about using olive oil to fry the potato chips, popcorn? Doesn’t the high heat destroy the benefits of olive oil? And please, is there any gtube formula you approve? Thought Kate Farms 1.5 was best choice for my daughter, but after you reviewed it, it isn’t approved. 😢 PLEASE reply! And thanks for all you do to keep us healthy. Always teaching us so well!
I’ve been taking “seed” for 6 months now and the very first month I started taking it and it immediately started working. I am regular and never haven’t had a bad stomach ache since. Before taking it, I would go to the bathroom and thought I was dying, broke out in a cold sweat, dizzy and pain I’ve never experienced in my life. I still don’t know why i would have those episodes. Very scary! Seed definitely does work. For me it does anyway. I only take 1 a day. Highly recommend it
No kidding. I bought a bag of mixed nuts, unsalted. It didn't say they were roasted either, yet in the ingredients it said sunflower oil. Why roasted? I just want the nuts, plain!
It's so bad for gout sufferers like me :( unless olive oil or avocado oil. Also, why is there salt in everything?! Or sea salt?! It's bad for me also, is there any chips without sea salt or salt made with safe oils?
Bobby is always talking about oils and additives that are "inflammatory". Does anyone know what this means? What part of the body is getting inflamed and what are the symptoms and consequences?
I’m waiting for customers at that store to start huddling around him as he’s filming the videos with their jaws dropped. Realizing that a lot of their groceries are profits over people.
great video bobby we avoid all the bad oils and we only use the Bobby approved app when we go shopping thank you for all the work that you do every day to keep the flavcity family healthy ❤️😊
EXCELLENT, INVALUABLE INFO!!!!!!!!!! You’ve just answered all the questions I had about all these fake, harmful oils. I’ll be staying away from them like the plague!!! Thank you, Bobby!!!
It is so Sad Bobby what they are doing to our Food Chain and I talk to my friends about us using Organic and they say we are deceived and they are not giving us Organic that they have Chemicals in them as well, but since I have been Watching your show I see all the Bad Oil in everything. I have been Watching what I buy and use to buy Natures Bakery Fig Bars and then read the ingredients and found Bad Olives and I stopped buying them I want to eat clean and put healthy things in our body and have resorted to making my own Baked goods that I know exactly what I am putting in our bodies. Keep up the good work and keep educating the Public. ❤
Thank you for this information. I try my best trying to eat healthy and walk several days weekly. But at times inflammation builds on my knees…I do have slight arthritis on my knees…What can I do to help/stop the inflammation? Thank you.
Don't know if this would help or not but maybe try looking up natural remedies for inflammation here on YT. I just came across a channel that appears to be an elderly woman who says she no longer has pain or swelling. She makes drinks using ginger and turmeric, etc. Unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the channel. But I think it would be fairly easy to find recipes for such. Just avoid store bought ones, because they're probably full of sugar, additives and preservatives.
It comes down to figuring out which foods are causing the inflammation because even some foods that are Bobby Aproved can be inflammatory for some, try cutting down on carbs, sprouted whole grain breads maybe Bobby Aproved but they're loaded with lectins and carbs, cut down on foods that are high on omegas 6 ,and fruits that are very high on sugar, find out which leafy greens are low on oxolates, avoid spinach and chard both are very high, in a nutshell find out which are the inflammatory foods high on omegas 6, carbs, oxolates, lectins and sugar and try to avoid them and if you start feeling better then you'll know what was the root of your inflammation, you might also be deficient in certain vitamins like vitamin D3 and C, zinc and omegas 3s, magnesium and vitamin A .
@@max410 Thank you for getting back to me. I bake with munkfruit sweetener. And I bake with oat flour. I do eat spinach and chard weekly, they are my favorite…. I will eliminate them…What about Kale and Collard Greens?…I like those too. I’m thankful to say I’m not deficient in vitamins d3, c, b12, Zink, magnesium…I started on them a little over 4 years ago. I’ve never taken vitamin A before…I will have to do more homework on it. Thanks Naxwell 👍
