I felt like God was teaching me about the Levites tonight. Not sure, but I know one of their jobs was "gate keepers". Felt like Holy Spirit was telling me that is my job now. Not totally sure what it means. I will try to do some research and see if anyone has taught on this subject.

Do you mind guiding me in what to do when a prophecy could evoke fear? On December 28, 2019, God revealed what I thought was going to be a really bad flu season. I told a couple that I’m really good friends with. Then COVID happened. I thought I had the gift of exhortation and I’m a counselor.(which is fitting) I wish I could attend the prophetic school at Bethel, but there are many reasons I can’t right now. If this prophecy happens, many people could be in danger, but I never want to fear monger. Just not sure what to do. I appreciate the way you make the prophetic so applicable to everyday life. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts/direction.

If I may chime in. We have to take every prophecy and word back to the Lord in prayer.We require wisdom from him to best communicate the warning or exhortation.Dont share it until you feel peace from the Lord to share it.And when you do let it be in love and grace never in fear.

Interpretation belongs to the Lord. Kris has a great training book ‘Basic Training for the Prophetic Ministry‘. It will cover the foundation really well. John Paul Jackson also has great training on dream interpretation, which can apply to visions and prophetic revelation. These two resources are invaluable as an introduction. Anytime Im unsure of what to do with a dream, knowing, vision, Ill ask Holy Spirit. If Im not feeling led with clarity of what to do. I turn it into a prayer. Lord I feel like You’re showing me there is going to be a bad flu season coming. Lord thank you that you are a loving, kind, Father. Thank you that Jesus was beaten and died on the cross for our sickness. I pray the blood of Jesus and rebuke in Jesus’ name the spirit of infirmity…. Ect If you are hungry for answers you will find them. God is faithful.
