It's all about reading the game and making the decision to block a passing lane before your opponent, I've had some games where my opponent is soo good at predicting my next move they automatically block it, its a hard one

Having played FUT since it first began, Neymar is just one of those OP cards. He has just enough physical stats and height that you won't push him off the ball immediately, and because of that, his pace, balance and agility will allow him to breeze past you if you don't time the challenge perfectly. Best way to defend against him is to back off him and gradually close the space until you can tackle him. Most people will give up with him and move the ball on if you back off.

Hug sidelines bro, dont play through middle, its too crowded, 1-2 pass with your full backs… try some wide formation like 442 - both variations are good, 4231 woth hug the sidelines forka for me too, as your lam and ram are like wingers… 🤞 good luck

Worst thing you can do is play when frustrated. I do it as well, but I notice that the way I play when frustrated from previous games is different. Best thing to do is just take like a 5/10 minute break and start again. Honestly makes such a big difference

Yh that's very boring. That attacking style is very effective even Neal himself have talked about it over and over. U don't push forward in attack but basically pass/move around the opponent half and wait for the opponent to make a mistake. Same goes with defending. As mentioned in this video u basically position your defenders and midfielders to intercept the ball or cover spaces. The person who makes a mistake either concedes and the opponent scores. That's normally how EA Sports works. Now, there are usually some negative factors like glitches, bounces, lags etc that usually makes the game biased. Therefore, one who perfectly defends is unlikely to concede a goal and the one who attacks perfectly is likely to score a goal. NB: There's no perfect attacker or defender as we are all human and make mistakes often

I get you bro u know what i do is i use second man press and make the second man run after the player who has the ball and with the regular your controlling him stay back and watch where he's gunna pass if he passes backward just keep second man press 70% is that they will always pass forward if u use second man press

Most likely they're team pressing you a lot. I usually use the sidelines to my advantage when they press like that. Once you use the sides and move forward they're so much space in the back to expose their defense.

Bro honestly I feel the same, my defence is really good and I know I could win the ball Everytime but lately I keep doing stupid tackles and brake my defensive line. I play in Elite Division without a meta squad, besides Cruyff 94 who I packed untradable. 41212: Ramsdale 86, TAA 89, Azpilicueta RA 88 as a cv, Cannavaro 93, Shaw 87, Kante 89, Eriksen 92, Mwepu 84, Cruyff 94, Yarmolenko 90 and Origi 89. 🤷‍♂️

change your players with the right stick

I have the same problem. Tried various settings and they never work as they should. The little arrow above the player's head is supposed to say who will switch to next, but a lot of the time control ends up going to someone else. The game loves making me control the CBs, so only option sometimes is to use player relative, press the switch button to control a CB then immediately push the RS towards the midfielder you probably want to control.

Very true to be fair, elite division is so boring and champs the top players do 5 star skills and basically pass side to side until they find a space, always look for the pull back or extra pass, turn, shoot and score, it's impossible impossible defend, my cpu ai is always dumb as F

@@kelynelly7761 Yes my friend, but you are probably not doing it properly, what I am explaining to you is that it works from div 10 all the way to pro level, its all the same principle, if you are losing 6/7-0, its because you are not doing it right, submit a short 30 second clip of a goal you score in the VIP discord and ill tell you what you are doing wrong Also watch all the defending/jockeying videos

AI press can cover the shot for you while you control the player behind
