Miracle of the words of Allah. The translation is sufficient to change the heart of disbelievers but a Muslim relying on translation is just taking a drop from an ocean.

Me alegra no ser la única que se ha dado cuenta del pequeño peligro de las traducciones. Hablo inglés y español pero he visto traducciones bastante preocupantes, que ni hace falta ser experto en árabe para saber que están mal. Sobretodo a español. Y fue eso lo que me hizo tomarme en serio el aprender árabe.

salam aleikum I am also a Hispanic Muslim and a serious arabic student. Everyday I talk to my wife in arabic (she is yemeni). you need to speak everyday and memorize everyday. I have seen too many latino converts that cannot read or speak arabic and I told myself I can do it b’idhinillah and inshallah I can help my spanish speaking Muslims to learn.

There is a MUCH deeper debate that maybe you don't want to touch, which is that even the Arabic book that you read the Quran from is not the Quran.. Ibn Abd al Bar al Maliki (Andulusi like yourself) made a distinction, but he also said many writers got the distinction wrong so the topic became useless and just confused laymen. But anyway he did say there is a difference between the Mushhaf (the written down arabic Quran) and the Quran in the Ideal sense.. And its not only him of course

There is still Arabic in the Qurans and can read them. You can read Arabic and can read the Quran where it’s all in Arabic. Those only in English or just talk about Islam and the Quran are the ones you should go after. Also sure the title is true because no translation is 100% correct and the Quran was revealed in Arabic so yeah I get that. If only we all could read Arabic like you can.
