He uses quiet kicks in half the beats they are just under the 808 and if it has no kicks he uses loud hi hats to give punch, going bad has kicks at certain parts for example to add more thump/punch if you listen carefully

Hard to say they only stick to one genre of music haven’t seen them producer anything that not hip hop or in that genre of field .
