Gurgaon is a city where no employee wants to live but due to cheap land and big offices that attracted so many companies and their managers in terms of saving some money forced an employee to live in a hell.

No landlord skipped increasing their rent by 10% even during Covid so you are wrong there. What we are witnessing is a cycle that plays out on rents every 6-8 years where there is a complete reset of the rental market.

Some Landlords did not increase rents is true and cooperated with tenants but that is also because either salaries were on hold or cut by as much as 30%. In those conditions it was not possible to get a new tenant. A point that i would prefer to have your views on is regarding the 10% annual increase. 10 years back a 10% increase was fine as inflation rate was 14%, 10% etc. However now Inflation is 4 to 7%. Previously salary hikes were averagely in the range of 15% and higher. Today annual salary hikes are 7%, 8% or 10%. Keeping both these factors in mind its unreasonable in my opinion to maintain the old system of a 10% annual rental increase by the landlord.

I somehow agree with you, according to me it should be 5-10% Rise on rents every year.

My rent was increased by 5 percent in covid time, where my salary was cut by 50 percent. In 2022-23, my rental increased by 20 percent, and in 2023-24, my current rental increased by 33 percent in Gurugram. My two houses in Pune have not grown over 10 percent ... though Pune is a better city. It's just a hype made by investors and builders. My salary increment is not even 8 percent 😢

Abhi Nuh Violence our badshahpur, sec 66 70 me logo ne riots ke karan flats jhor diye, koi lene wala nahi hai

It is a temporary situation. It won't affects the Rentals of that sectors. People who vacated these flats will come back soon after situation gets normal.

Abhi new hype noida m zewar ki vajah se ban rhi hai jo ki gurgaon ko compete karegi .Also Gurgaon ka naam bhut khrab hota jaa rha hai drainage k issues ki vajah se ,1 ghante ki barish iss shahar m tabahi laa deti hai.

@@nik9472Gurgaon m market rates especially sectors or licensed colonies m like DLF,South City and Sushant Lok m upcoming 2-3 years m Delhi k rates k equal ho jayenge guarantee k saath Bol rha hu…..likh lo aaj ki date or 2025-26 m aana yahi wapis……..bhot rightly placed h market……rates will go too much high now……metro is also getting extended now forward from huda metro…..
