If rumors are correct they're gonna remove Krauser and the whole island part of the game and make Leon a lot more vulnerable and weak compared to the original since his over the top roundhouse kicks and suplex moves are gonna be removed and replaced by a weaker Carlos type dodge and melee attack ability. But they're gonna expand Luis' story in the game and make him a playable character in a level. I don't like this trade AT ALL.
Remaking Resident Evil 4 is a bold move on Capcom’s part given that the original is so critically acclaimed and loved by fans. I’m caught between feeling excited for it and being a bit apprehensive, especially after being disappointed by the RE3 remake. Having said that, I really like the more serious-looking, horror-focused tone of the RE4 remake trailer!
@@damikey18 Re5 and RE6 are both too new to have remakes imo. I would even argue that RE4 isn’t old enough to get a remake given just how well it has aged, with maybe the exception of the cheesy dialogue. It’s the reason I’m not feeling very hyped with RE4 remake because the bar is just set too high. And if they cut content like they did in Re3 remake then I’m just probably not even gonna play it
YOu made a great point of being apprehensive of Remaking one of the greatest games of all time, because that comes with expectations to live up to the same standards, maybe even more. Though I do think that this will be a great one because it's not the same team who made RE3 Remake
Same here, I wonder if they'll have The Big Cheese as someone who stalks you throughout the Village as the Tyrant Like Figure. Also Yes!!! I can't wait to see how they remake the Regenerator, because that Monster definitely was the scariest thing I've seen in RE4. Anyway Thank You so much for watching and I hope you enjoyed the video!!!
I know it's not Graham, but Adam was the one who recruited Leon into becoming a US government agent and I could see him being the one to brief him on his mission to save the President's Daughter
@@HeYDeVuH agreed, cus i remember USA president system wasn't the same as other contrary, it have a main president and secondary vice president as assistance by the system to make they hardworking job much more easy to be handle
@@HeYDeVuH Not true, Adam recruited Leon to DSO ( Division of Security Operations) which was formed in 2011, in RE4 Leon was just a government agent and it was in 2004 so no DSO yet.
As a die-hard RE4 fan, I am by all means excited and yet also a bit nervous for this game. The nervousness is mainly rooted in the idea that there could be a chance of disappointment on some parts of the game - the redirection from the original, the possible cutting off of some iconic characters, and personally, the forgoing of Paul Mercier as Leon's voice. I think I speak for the majority when I say that Paul Mercier will always be the OG RE4 Leon, the tone, the smoothness, and the velvety-deep sound of his voice is just sooo iconic. Also, letting Paul Mercier go also means we will see a VERY DIFFERENT Merchant in this game. But of course, I have loved Nick Apostolides' work in RE2, I really think he did an awesome job as the reimagined younger Leon Kennedy. It's just that, I feel like this older, more experienced (and even cockier) Leon really needs Paul Mercier's voice. However, because I love this game so much and because I have faith that Capcom will try their best not to disappoint fans on the remake of arguably their most successful RE game, I want to embrace the changes and I want to see and believe that Nick will do an amazing job reimagining RE4 Leon. Plus, despite all these worries, the excitement still overpowers them, and I am super duper looking forward to playing this game next year. BTW. The effort you put into piecing up this video together is amazing. I like how your video is different by incorporating relevant clips to express an angle you are trying to state. It's really unique and opens new perspectives to fans like me. You earned a like, and of course a sub. Keep it up man!
Thank you so much and glad to have you on board the channel, truly appreciate the kind words. Also like you I'm extremely excited for this game but also a bit nervous, because the OG Resident Evil 4 set the bar so high. So for them to take on the task of Remaking one of the greatest games of all time is definitely a daunting task. I do believe that they'll do a great job knowing that everyone expects this to be on par as the original.
Too campy an not very survival horror like so it would make sense that hes getting cut. I wouldnt be surprised if other stuff gets extended in its place or just brand new ideas as well. I mean it is a remake so things will get changed.
@@Cyraxxxxxxxsssstylus Yeah I’m sure they had some ideas back in 2005, that they just couldn’t flesh out, due to hardware limitations of that time. I don’t think Krauser needs much change. It was corny that he kept calling Leon “comrade” but that’s about it.
I doubt they'll cut anything after the criticism of RE3make, especially when the original RE4 is their most critically acclaimed title in the series. I have a feeling they've just added more detail and gameplay. I'm optimistic this is going to be a special one.
@@Canttouchthis04 Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. They could release the original RE4 on a Samsung refrigerator and people would buy it. I don’t think they’re going to screw this one up.
"And Leon, that outfit doesn't suit you" Literally all I'm thinking of when I'm seeing that scene with the President talking to Leon. It's nice because the same VA did Leon in that suit.
u think they're just remaking the games people want or u think they're just remaking the series up to 6 cuz I hope they remake re5 its one of my favorites
Imagine the remake of the mercenaries mode from RE5, that would definitely be the new mainstream multiplayer game, I remember mercenaries were a HUGE part of why people kept playing the game
I have mixed feelings about this re4 remake. I love the original far more only because I can see Leon's sense of humor that made me a Leon fan in general. Also Leon makes me laugh everytime he smiles in the original re4 because he is soo damn cute.
Yeah they are gonna make every character in this game boring arent they ? Leon as we see him in resident evil 4 is a condensed extract of all 80s action heroes. The whole game you can tell they took various inspirations from 80s action films even for set pieces. They better not make this fucking game about boring shit and everyone too focused on looking attractive instead of actually acting
@@KneeCapHill"They better not make this fucking game about boring shit and everyone too focused on looking attractive instead of actually acting" Being Attractive is a good thing , no body likes unattractive things , also theyll always act , its an role playing game , even in RERemake3 and Re8 they did that.
In the gameplay trailer, Leon lights the village cow on fire and says, "bill me for the repairs later." I don't think you have to worry about them removing his cheesy 80's action one-liners.
"Nobody likes unattractive things" So dumb. You know great artists actually know how to convey the beauty of blemishes and withered skin and ugly faces. Its talentless hacks that resort to an archetype of perfection because they dont have the skill to convey imperfection. Wabi sabi is pulchritudinous
Just from the Trailer it looks like we'll get more Detail than we got from the GameCube release. Like How did the President's Daughter get kidnapped? Is Umbrella or The Connections really behind the Cult? Those were some major plot holes they left out of it's original release.
They answer these in game through various documents. The biggest issue with 4 story wise was how they glossed over the fall of umbrella and even if they fill it in here it's too little too late.
The connections is just some whackjob writer changing the pre established lore. Spencer didn't actually study under Miranda. It's so stupid that they're changing the lore. They're erasing the games' identity.
Nothing could ever be behind the cult. The cult is the oldest org in RE universe, going back way into the past before Umbrella or The Connections even existed. All Saddler did was revive it. I don't see how that's a "plot hole". They also explain her kidnapping in the original. Strange how so many people upvote this comment
would be cool to have a short scene of the duke meeting and having a short talk with the merchant in RE 4 remake, would be a great intro for the merchant.
I just hope they retain Leon's sarcastic attitude and cheesy ass one-liners. If I finish the village area and I don't hear a "where's everyone going? Bingo?" then I absolutley will riot. Capcom will not hear the end of it...
I definitely think they'll keep at least the most iconic few. One could argue due to the more serious tone and focus on Leon's Raccoon City trauma, it wouldn't fit the tone of the game, but realistically, I think it wouldn't be out of character for Leon to use his humor in an attempt to lighten the situation, and humor in a serious story serves it's own purpose in inclusion, usually lightening the mood slightly in order to not make the story drag or weigh on the consumer.
@@joeysandoval5269 Yeah great point. And what Leon says in the trailer about wanting to move on might indicate this, as well. He has to be a lot more confident now than he was in Raccoon City. I'm afriad if they do scrap the witty/sarcastic attitutde, then Leon will be reduced to just another basic action hero guy with no discernable personality. But we'll see! Super excited for this remake either way
The Megamycete and Las Plagas having more of a connection could be a cool idea, I know people weren't a fan of Mother Miranda's tagged on connection to Spencer but her and other bio terrorist groups having a bigger influence on each other in the remake series might make it better.
I honestly hope we don't play as Ashley or even see her before Leon makes it to where she's being held. There was something about not even getting a glimpse of Ashley beyond a photo that made it mysterious. A first time player might start questioning if she even exists. And with how many setbacks you have in the game before that point, it almost feels like she's a red herring. That's why I think it feels so fresh when you find her, like damn something actually worked out. Plus it adds this tweak and difficulty boost to the game play that you've had more than enough experience to handle at that point. And it's even more jarring to play as her finally after you've been controlling a badass for so long.
I do hope they keep some things from the original, though so far their approach to Leon this time around may hinder the joking personality that Leon had from the original RE4
It will definitely be great but seeing they’re leaning more into re2make type of gameplay they will remove most of the campyness and mechanics etc that made the original re4 fun to play but that’s okay I don’t really mind it as long as they don’t remove the doggy in the beginning
As you said I love how they're leaning more to the Horror Side of things, It only makes me more curious how they'll portray some of the scarier enemies like The Regenerator, U-3, and so on.
I really don’t think the camping is is what made the original fund to play LOL I like it in the game for what it is. But that’s definitely not why the game is so successful.
RE Always was cheesy, even the older games, and it will never change. Hell even Village had some dumb ass moments, and a big boob vampire lady is def campy enough imo
It’s interesting to me that RE2 and 3 were remade to have the horror and atmosphere they had then but with the gameplay of RE4, and now we have the reverse with RE4 being remade to have the same gamplay but with the horror and atmosphere of RE2 and 3
@@Mr.Honest247the first three games were great with their horror and atmosphere but they are critiqued heavily for their shit horrible gameplay, so they were all remastered into the RE4 gameplay. But RE4 lacked the horror vibes the first 3 games had so now it’s getting remastered to have that
Two things….I’m excited to see the Regenerators and Iron Maidens in this remake AND I hope they come up with a decent combat system to be as good as the stomps, kicks, etc. From the original.
I don’t have a doubt in my mind that Resident Evil 4 Remake will be amazing but this is a broad opportunity for Capcom to tackle some spin-off but also a chance to change the sequel like Resident Evil 5 and I’m not sure about 6 but can you imagine if Capcom did a Resident Evil 5 Remake that will be the day.
I think they stop at 4. And go back to Code Veronica. I doubt they will touch 5&6 as those titles are both “modern” titles and both pretty much maligned fans and critics. They won’t sell since there is no nostalgia attached to them.
All I have been wanting to see is a _frame-by-frame_ breakdown of the final hyper montage. There’s appears to be so many juicy clips in that burst of frames, and no one seems to be talking about it.
Can’t wait for the Remake of U-3. Its one of my favorite boss fights. Being stuck in the cage with the monster, is gonna be horrific experience than the original. ❤️ but I’m gonna keep my expectations low for now.
What I wanna see from RE4 Remake is Leon still making quips and jokes to cope with the trauma of Raccoon City. But I want him to stop after Mike's death (the helicopter pilot backing him up on the island portion). I want Leon to make a quip that costed a man's life and have that event build his character.
@@HeYDeVuH It should be the other way around. This was probably the result of a few people criticizing the dress as impractical and sexist. They did the same to jills costume in resident evil 3. Cancel culture strikes again.
A Resident Evil 4 game before Code Veronica, Survivor, Dead Aim and Outbreak if the middle two titles memorable but I guess since RE4 arguably the most popular game of the franchise Capcom had to take advantage.
Yeah RE4 is in a lot of the public's greatest game of all time conversation, more so than the other Resi games so it is no wonder they would either do this first and go to the others or not do the others at all and do this since it is a mainline game compared to the others. I hope the case is that they do this first and then do the others because the fans asked for the others. It would be so cool to see a younger Chris and Claire after RE2 Remake in Code Veronica.
code veronica will be the most likely after 4 given the others aren't really worth remaking. Well maybe 5 but that game would be entirely different if it was going more horror focused
@@HeYDeVuH honestly if thy do remake both, thy gotta overhaul them esp 6,tht includes story too, cause 6 was meant to b like the "endgame" like it was basically REs own version of infinity war/endgame,with tht said, thy should retcon spencers death in 5,save him for 6emake have him b the big bad instead of Carla or Simmons but thts just my opinion
@@finnrogue9435 ya thy already are changing the canon, like hw thy connected the plaga to nemmy parasite but the question is : if thyre gonna make bigger changes like wt I just said, will thy b gd or bad changes..? Only time will tell
I hope if they continue with us playing Ashley they would give her small fighting/dodging mechanics so that we don't feel completely helpless rather than just the lamps as projectiles. Like a more stealth gameplay if ever.
While I like that they are leaning more towards realistic grit, I hope it doesn’t take away some of the campy charm that made the original different from the rest.
Resident evil 4 is fine the way it is but it's also amazing at the same time because we get a better understanding from the pain and suffering he had in resident evil 2 and a remake for res 4 shouldn't be a problem as long as they still have all the good and iconic moment's but if we can still keep the Original rest 4 then I support this all the way more them I already do
I feel that this game doesnt need a remake however it will be nice to see the difference between the original and remake plus the graphics will be better and the controls and gunplay will better etc.
Leon S. Kennedy faced many horrors and tragedies, on his first and only day as police officer in Raccoon City at the RPD, he witnessed the deaths of many people who tried to help him through his journey, like Lt. Marvin Branagh Leon's fellow police officer and was his senior in command, Ben Bertolucci a investigative journalist who was about to reveal Brian Irons corruption with Umbrella, Ada Wong a woman who claimed to be working for the FBI to bring down umbrella, it never happened because she betrays Leon for the sake of the G-Virus and who she really works for Umbrella's rival the Organization, Ada is shot by Annette Birkin and is going to fall into a seemingly bottomless pit, Leon did try to save Ada even though she did betray him, but she ultimately did fall and Leon believe she truly died, she was saved by Wesker somehow that has been fully explained, Leon also had to face many terrifying B.O.W.s like Zombies, Lickers, Cerberus's, the giant Crocodile in the Raccoon city sewers, Plant 43 Zombies, The Tyrant Mr. X, and the G-Virus mutant Willam Birkin, after everything Leon did face it really changed him and his overall personality, he has become so much more braver and more confident but most of all has become much more determined than ever, to make sure that what happened in Raccoon City never happens again, Leon is a U.S. government agent now and is on a very important mission, to rescue the U.S. presidents own daughter Ashley Graham from those who kidnapped her and brought her to Spain, thanks for going over what Leon had to go through in Resident Evil 2 , how it really changed him for the Resident Evil 4 Remake journey he's going to have, you did an amazing job here Hey DeVuh and I pray that Resident Evil 4 Remake has major success ✊
At first, I was one of those people who thought an RE4 REmake was unnecessary, and that Capcom should instead do a REmake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica as that was more in need of it. But I've changed my mind after seeing the new footage and gameplay.
I’m beyond excited to play this game in a brand new engine and new features added as well. I pray they don’t cut content from the original and try to make it as close as possible to the original, just like RE2 did. But time will tell.
No way! Besides the trailer totally implies it will be different this time, but I take this as a positive. I think everything you want will be there, but if they want it to be more serious, and dark, it needs change. The original has rediculous stuff that will lessen this magical, terrifying, and atmospheric, ride they're brewing. 👌
@@nicholassnyder2241 I agree that there’s some stuff that needs to be changed. But I don’t want the remake to become the same mistake they did with RE3 remake. If they stick to the original and change a few things for the best, then I will totally be happy.
@@Arthas_Menethil_00 I think you're spot on there, remaking RE4 is like remaking Apocalypse Now, or building a death star, it's going to take everything you got to get it done correctly, not like RE3. Idk why, but I got really good vibes from the teaser, I think it's going to hit just as hard, it's on new hardware, my imagination is running wild now thinking of the possibilities.
I believe the president during the time is not Adam Benford, it's president Graham (Ashley's Father) as evidenced by RE Infinite Darkness which occurs after 4 and before 5
It’s literally the best and smartest idea Capcom has ever made and it’s going to be by far one of their most critically successful and financially successful games. There’s really no reason to be conflicted. If you love the original, that’s the reason to be more excited for the remake. Now if you hate the original I understand you not being excited. They were games I’ve never played they get remakes, I’m not excited for them because I never played them. If you love a game, you should be excited for the remake or you’re just being kind of stupid. I just notice a pattern of people being kind of stupid about this. Anybody’s worried about the game not being good, that’s a literally an argument you can make about 100% of all games ever released.
Im hyped for the remake. Favorite game of the series and while it didnt need a remake it will be good to have it updated just hope they don't cut content like the re 3 remake
I am so excited to see everything is this game. I love RE4, its one of my guilty pleasures and I replayed the game so many times. The randomizer is my recent piece of joy and I am sooooo happy about this remake. I hope they manage to rock this.
I'm honestly kinda nervous about this remake. Re4 is a lot more silly than others, and I feel people just dont understand how much will likely be removed entirely because of this strive toward gritty realism. We'll have to wait and see but if it's anything like the r3make, then we're likely to be disappointed. Also can the game be longer than 5 hours please capcom?
FYI: The "U.S. Government Agent" is actually Adam Benford; he would go on to become President sometime later. The President whom Leon is actually interacting with is Ashley's father (President Graham).
Yes i do hope that they make the game as long as the original because as you said the replay value would be insane. Anyway thank you so much for watching!!!
PLEASE KEEP AN OPEN MIND AND GIVE THIS GAME A CHANCE! Pretend it's not a REmake and judge it for what it is. The #1 complaint of RE3Make was "cut content". Fans of the original got upset that it wasn't an exact replica. RE4 was a great game. But I feel like most of the hype about the game had more to with childhood nostalgia than the game itself.
Fans got upset because it was trash, get real dude. They cut half of the content of the original, exploration was drastically reduced, character personalities looked like something from a generic 80s movies and nothing like they would really react, nemesis was a joke and even mr x turned out to be better ( this shouldnt never be the case), they removed enemies again and even a boss in an alredy short game, and were relying on cheap qtes and press one button to win. Death scenes were censored again, and mercenaries mode was removed. The game was so garbage the og creator was dissappoiinted.
Hey duder! Glad to see someone who has both an encyclopedic knowledge of the series, and a passion for all content on the subject reporting on this! Thank you for filling us in on this surely monumental title. All the best! 👌 👍
This Trailer Surely made my day. After the remake of RE 2 i always wondered if Capcom will remake RE 4. The original RE 4 is a Masterpiece. It's a perfect game and many people were saying it don't need a remake. But this trailer surely made an impact. The game looks so beautiful and at the same time so scary. This remake will sure set the standard for what a Videogame Remake should be. Can't wait to play it.
As someone who greatly enjoys the horror aspect of Resident Evil I am honestly very excited if they decide to remake the more action sort of games and make them gritty and gory I personally and very excited for this I can't wait I can never get enough of Resident Evil
No joke when Leon says I wish I could forget even for a second.. I felt that.. pain is different for all. I can’t wait to play this game. I’ve been playing since RE-DC 1998 I was 8yrs old. Let’s go!!
i didnt know how to feel when i first heard about it, but im looking forward to it, i just hope they don't cut any of the original game content like they did with resi3 remake.
Yes I do hope that they avoid cutting areas of the game like they do with RE3 Remake, Which I do think they'll stay true to the original and keep all the story points and areas the same but with the added layer of new things on top
i think the president that calls Leon in the flashback is Ashley's father, as it shows in Infinite Darkness Pres. Graham thanked Leon for saving her daughter back in the events of 4
Capcom in progress with this remake is indeed a very bold move when all of us know that RE4 is one of the highest selling game for the PS2 and it wasn't even it's original console to be released with. The game was originally an exclusive for the Nintendo Gamecube but it was too good at the time that it got a PS2 port and a PC port. Now we'll have just to wait and see if the sales of the remake would exceed it's original sales record.
Awesome rundown on the upcoming RE:m4ke ..I honestly don't have anything more to add except how excited I am for it, I am hoping tho there's an Albert Wesker tie in with Ada's side of things, Mr shades in the R.E game engine? Yes please! I'd also understand if there radio silent on wesker's influence, coz it would blow my socks off in excitement if he is, the suprise would be awesome, and I so so hope they'll get stuck Into to a code Veronica remake after this, crossing my fingers on it! but re9 when that happens, it's gonna be epic
I dont know y everyone think Leon has no idea that Ada was alive, ofcourse he knew becoz in the OG RE4 the 1st time they met Leon said to Ada, "So it is true, you working with Wesker."
My assumption and hope is that it will be closer to the Mist and Hookman version of RE4, I want it to have a vastly diffrent vibe and tone from the original 4 to justify having a 4make.
I'm playing through RE4 Classic atm just to prepare myself and my goodness if just a few of the iconic characters and spots get new life put into them, it's literally going to be AMAZING. I can't wait to be terrified of Regenerators ALL OVER AGAIN.
Having a Remake of RE4 This early is a big gamble, knowing how RE4 is famous. I think having a remake of CV, RE1 or RE0 would have been nicer, even Dino Crisis. But ill take it
Also also it seems odd that they just swept code Veronica under the rug, that's like the one that actually needs a modernisation and remake. But my wish for that one is for it to be a game starring Wesker with Claire and Chris as the separate paths.
I can probably guess why, one of the reasons I'm guessing is Alfred's character. With how today society is it would be a bit difficult to make him the same. That would have to change him and they probably don't want to deal with that.
@@TheRealGameTime it's much more likely that CV didn't sell as well and isn't as fondly remembered. It's the weakest RE from the original main series (before 4) Having said that I'd love to see it remade and fix many of the issues with the game and characters. Maybe Steve could actually be likeable
Interesting thing is they only showed us few parts from first two chapters in this small trailer and it already looks great. But there's even more chapters that are left to be shown for example, Castle, Underground area, Island area which I'm very intrigued to know about how they're going to remake this part specifically. Imagine how Regenerators would look like in RE4R (that 1st Regenerators encounter was my most scariest moment from og RE4). And also that famous Krauser vs Leon Knife QTE & boss fight. I can't wait to play this!❤️🔥
I bought re4 cause I never played it before and the same day the trailer for the remake came out. Just beat the game today and I loved it. I can't wait to see the new direction in the remake.
I’m just hoping they keep almost everything in the game like I don’t want them to leave nothing out but obviously add some new stuff I hope they keep the old soundtracks to
Im pumped for the remake but I just hope they don’t go overboard with the dark tone one of my favorite parts of 4 was that it didn’t take itself too serious
I hope they make Mendez a tragic villain. As the village priest he could be utterly horrified with what's happened while being powerless to stop it. They could also use it to explain why he always throws Leon instead of just killing him (better than the, 'same blood' excuse). He could be fighting the Plaga inside himself. A fresh twist on an old face. Also I'm glad you read the "If I could just forget what happened that night." line the same way I did. I think a reference to Ada before she just mysteriously shows up would be better and he could confirm in a conversation with Ashley that she died before she shows up to surprise him. And this time I hope he's actually surprised. ("Ada." Howabout, "ADA?!") Sure, it's not news to us but it is to him. Finally Krauser. In my dreams the person walking into the office behind him is his partner Krauser. They're going on this mission together. (Maybe Krauser was her bodyguard and "failed" so he "wants to redeem himself.") Leon gets separated from Krauser at the same time as the cops but we never find Krauser's body. When he shows back up players who didn't play Dark Side Chronicles aren't shrugging like, "Guess they know each other."
Thank You so much and I will definitely will be covering more of RE4 Remake and it's characters in the near future. Again Thank you so much and glad you enjoyed the video!!!
I hope capcom makes a physical port of resident evil 4 remake for ps4 next year I’m keeping my hopes up so I can had it to my resident evil collection of video games .😱😎🤩❤️
It does, I think that they designed her character this time around to be a bit more practical for the mission this time around, though I do believe that we'll be able to see a long dress style as an alternate costume if we beat the game.
My only wish (besides wanting the game to be awesome obviously) is that they keep and use some of Leon's humor to strengthen his character, its like he would be keeping a confident look, joking and all, in a way to cope with the pain and memories of Raccoon City, and in reality he isn't doing so well as it seems. It would be a good way to be faithful to the Leon we loved from the original, and improve his character at the same time.
Yeah that's a very important personality trait that Leon needs to retain in this remake, a lot of RE fans have speculated that they may tone it down a bit but that may alter Leon a bit to much
I think this time umbrella is involved b it directly or indirectly for one simple reason :if u remember a long while bk,capcom themselves confirmed tht in the remake universe so to speak, the ne alpha parasite which nemmy used to infect zombies was actually umbrellas artifical replication of the Las plagas parasite, thy retconned this story detail to better connect 4emake to 3emake,ofc at the time we thought thy meant og 4,lil did we know capcom at the time of the interview subtly confirmed the existence of 4emake before the rumors even started
Yes You're Absolutely right, I do remember that they did tie in that detail of the NE Alpha Parasite with the Las Plagas from RE3 Remake. This is great news because it helps tie in RE4 Remake with the main storyline.
I hope they don’t change Leon’s sarcastic character to a more serious, depressed one.. Also I’m gonna be so pissed if he doesn’t say “where is everyone going, bingo?”
I’m a little worried that this game will become the *only* version of RE4, as Capcom has treated the previous remakes as replacements of their classic counterparts. I would hope that newcomers would still have an interest in the earlier game because it really is greater than the sum of its parts and no matter how good this experience is, it can’t outright replace the original.
Lol don't worry about that, seriously. RE4 has been released on basically every platform ever after the GameCube. I think it probably holds the record for most ported video game of all time lol
