I hear you. TRIOT trikes are a game changer for us seniors though. I am a senior and I don't suffer from balance and strength issues yet, but that day will finally come. The Terra Trike Rover and the TRIOT trikes are the only two recumbent trikes that address that important issue. I like the Catrike Dumont. I will test ride one and will be test riding a Triot trike in March. Can't wait. Check them out.
