From there, we get into the touchy subject of Breitling ditching the B-Wing logo. This, at the time of this recording, is something Christian didn't actually know, but on the whole it doesn't make as much of an impact given the fact that Breitling has gone through a couple of logo changes already (though not as many as Christopher Ward in recent years...just sayin').

I'll take the JLC Reverso over the Tank any day. I don't think Cartier deserves their spot at the top, at least in watches.

I'm actually glad that i'm not a Rolex guy, don't get me wrong, Rolex makes one of the greatest watch of all time, i don't hate Rolex because of that, but it's the fact that almost half the population in my city only wears a Rolex and whenever you ask them, why Rolex, they just simply say " Because why not, it's Rolex" , it sorts of giving me this idea that Rolex has become like a MacDonald that everyone has to eat it. where there are lots of Brands that have way way more interesting history than Rolex, such as Piaget, JLC, Blancpain, Breguet, Favre Leuba, Cartier and many more.

You know I’ve said it before @theloniouszeron and the team, but I find so much enjoyment playing in your world and learning about YOU, your family, and as stated right here-your STORIES. I too, am a narritive driven guy. This common thread of watches is greatly satisfying but more, I just wish we could hang together tête à tête, belly to belly, and enjoy each others larger lives, quirks and all that makes us TICK in this great big world of ours. Spot on with your comments about Cartier and Rolex, Cartier was always refined, elegance, Rolex was either sports i.e Submariner or Gaudy...Diamonds and Gold Rolex bought by those with little taste or class even but lots of money so yep totally identify with that...!

I don't owe any explanation to anyone. only to myself about my choices I don't like Patek. Cartier or Rolex I respect people opinion about those brands but if I buy something it's only for myself and to my test.

I'd say it is more Rolex and Omega... Omega = Legendary Moonwatch and James Bond.

Maybe in the eyes of us watch geeks, but in the public perspective, people tend to view Omega as second to Rolex, not on par with it. Disclaimer - I own a watch from both brands. Not a fanboy of either.

Hey, Rolex webpage has their Baselworld stuff up. They released an update to the Datejust. Can you please find out if the new DJ is using the standard clasp on the jubilee similar to the DJ41? Thanks. Also wanted to ask, if/when you obtain your grail (DayDate), do you think you would wear your DJ a lot less, or would you even sell your DJ? Just curious to know.

Adetola Atoyebi, I know this. But also on the page is states the updates to the DJ and then on the same page mentions the microadjust on the clasp but I do not know if they are referring to oyster only or the jubilee, indicating it has a similar clasp as the DJ41.

I noticed on your watch the word Cartier is in italics, whereas modern ones have BOLD letters, which I think is VERY BAD, The italic version is much more tasteful, why did the brand people change it???

Dean Steffey Yes me too. My Cartier Tank is the only watch people ask is that a Cartier. The Tank is so iconic most people know what they are even if they have no interest in watches.

Raymond He is not into sports watches or chronographs. He is also not a movement guy, more appeal is given to style and brand history. So i'm afraid, that Zenith Defy while innovative is a shitter watch to this channel. And to an extent I agree.

Had a look at that Hublot. Looks like my old Tag Heuer Link watch. Black dial is nice but it's too boring. Your other watch is a Rolex, I would get another Rolex with a different dial to the one you have already. Maybe a Pepsi GMT? Or the Omega Seamaster Master Coaxial line is good too.

They should change the title of the channel to "Pretentious Theo and Pretentious Harris" the way Christian dismissed Invicta. You'll learn, young man that the older you get the less you have to flex your ego. True watch lovers don't put down others. There are a lot of proud Invicta owners out there that watch your channel.

Cartier, really? I paid a visit to the boutique last year. Tried three watches, liked none of them. Calibre (a diver), Drive and Ballon Bleu. Didn't feel good in the hand nor on the wrist. The big painted Roman numbers for a start, the tiny hands, the poor leather strap, the sub par clasp and bracelet, the whole cheap feel. Not my cup of tea, felt like expensive fashion watches, some of the still with ETA for 7 grand. What a joke.
