I think its better to keep value lower than other currencies. High value doesn't mean better . High value mean loss at export. Just need to make sure the value doesn't fall very fast.

@@twinklee693 1000 is very drastic . It will destroy the value if its very low since we need to print bigger notes like 10000 like Indonesia. I think the best range is 100 ish that way we can avoid "paisa" system.

Lower value currency will not benefit india like china, japan, South korea, etc. Because india is an import dependent country, the best value would be between 50-80.

Slow and steady wins the race. Have faith in the process! We are after all a Chanakya country! Get all the manufacturing to India first instead of trying to anger dollar, Euro, Yen or Pound. Once we hit 5 trillion, then put the paddle to the metal.

I have a serious concern for world economy order especially world monetary order. The value of any country's currency should be determined by purchasing power of the currency in that country. Paradoxically this aspect is not considered in the present world economic order. Economists should take proper action to remove this paradox. Presently the world monetary order depends upon demand and supply of Currencies. This is not reasonable and fair.

Actually when Rupee becomes cheaper in comparison to USD then it is beneficial for India as it leads to Indian goods becoming relatively cheaper for the Americans. This will lead yo more exports. And since USD becomes relatively expensive for Indians, we will buy (import) less goods frim USA. This will improve our Net Exports, which will improve our GDP as well increase our Net Exports and Balance of Payments thus reducing our Fiscal Deficit. So, it is a total win-win situation for India in real terms.

₹1 = 1.79 Japanese Yen Japan is the third biggest economy and a developed country.... Ab khush hoja😅 All these currency valuation are number games. Indian currency has performed far better than than most of the other out there. And you should be happy about it. Moreover, a lower value of domestic currency gives us a slight edge in exports over other countries....

Lower value would be an advantage if we become a trade surplus country, which we are not yet. Hence a strong rupee is necessary. Lower value of currency is hurting our economy.
