I first explored Rust over a year ago as a way to speed up my small Python app that used Monte Carlo simulations. However, learning Rust was challenging and tedious, so I switched to Julia instead - much easier to learn - and I rewrote my app. The performance of that Julia app was vastly superior to Python. But Julia requires a runtime and is relatively limited in its applicability. So I returned to Rust. Rust takes longer to learn than Python, Julia or even C, but it is rewarding. It is easy to quickly pick up C and write buggy software. It takes longer to start writing Rust programs, but they have fewer bugs. It's clear that Rust will be made to work for just about every programming task. I'm all in.

Working on it - the camera is actually quite good but I haven't got the settings configured correctly. Sorry that it was annoying for you. I am really glad that you enjoyed the video anyway!

This is amazing stuff. Great job. @Tim I have seen few videos of yours and I like your way of teaching. I was wondering If I want to learn Rust in which sequence should I learn? I have seen your Rust programming playlist and it don't appear to be in order? Do you have any advise/suggestions for me? Many thanks
