The reason we borrowed an extra $6.3 trillion and there's nothing to show for it is because the dollars were used to keep the KSh artificially strong so that foreigners can exit or earn local dividends at an artificially strong KSh, and so that locals can import at an artificially strong KSh. The dollars borrowed should've been used to boost exports instead of imports.
