Is it really worth it to take this program? I've been doing some research that it's hard to get employed. Especially, in a program that is competitive like Film Studies. Is it really hard to get into a job after you graduate? I'm really interested in this program 'cause i like making short films and edit videos.
+Aronity I graduated from the program a few years ago and haven't had a problem finding work. I had a lot of freelance gigs and I am now employed full-time! But you're right, it is very competitive. Not easy at all. It all comes down to how proactive you are and how skilled you are at your profession.
what is comes down to is this, many talk about filmmaking but a few actually go out and make films, best way to play it is to just work your own projects, I would never be on someone elses payroll and have no controL, this reaL valuable thing about Ryerson is making HUMAN contacts , person to person, I am saying TALKING face to face with human beings !! by the way that spokesgirL is LOVELY !! could be the sister of racheL mcadams (York drama) LUV the hair of the girL above !! --------------------
