I think that dropshipping will always be a good business because people simply need to buy things, and if you can find good products and make your store appealing, you will be really successful. But for me, the thing was that I couldn't get sales until I got like really good products (I used, and I am still using, a little bit of winnerzila as source of my info). I am now having a store with almost 100 sales per day. Honestly I never thought it would be this good.
Im in middle of starting a online business based on lot or customization. After weeks of research im deciding to go with bigcommerce. Problem with shopify is for every little thing you need a app and apps are crazy expensive. You get lot of features with bigcommerce out of box only thing they lack is their themes are not thay stylish.
Great information. You might want to add that these problems happen on almost all other services as well. It seems bias and/or incomplete to leave that caveat out. It would also be good if you mentioned a few alternatives (and that would moisten our appetite to watch a whole other video!). Keep up the good work.
I actually didn't hear about this happening on other platform like Shift4Shop, BigCommerce or the others. But perhaps it's because Shopify is the most popular platform. Does it happen on "all" other ecommerce platforms? I don't believe so at all.
@@mywifequitherjobFirst, I want to underline how important it is for you to share what you have in this (and many other) videos. Your clear explanations based on your experiences have value. As for the issues covered, those problems definitely do not happen on all platforms. But there are similar issues that come up virtually across the board. I am not a super advocate or promoter for any in particular because I have seen and heard about so many horror stories. I like the control one gets with WooCommerce but I feel each should choose what works within their means. Verification conflicts, holding up funds, false claims by hostile competitors, and (probably the worse of all) getting your shop kicked off the platform, happens often enough on the major platforms. The hardest part about getting booted is that they usually do not give a great explanation or offer further recourse. They definitely don't have anyone available to speak with via phone. Your final point about the goal is for one to own their own is spot on. However, the online services, which usually provide value, can also undermine ones business.
question about Woo Commerce. what happens if one of your creatives goes viral and you get tens of thousands of visits to your Woo Commerce website (say hosted at a host like Hostinger). my understanding is that some of these low cost hosts have pretty low traffic caps. does your website slow to a crawl? are visitors blocked from even viewing your site? does the web host charge you a bunch of extra money because of the traffic? thanks
Shopify sounds like youtube... Most of us will never grow on RU-vid....you can take down RU-vid channel with fake copyright claims.....i wish some lawyer would step up .there are loop holes that make it unsafe if u do content videos..
Good one, I wouldn't be surprised if the CIA has blacklisted some people which they can take down from youtube, shopify, amazon, etc. at any moment. I got several strikes allready from youtube even mentioning the name shopify... So I'm surprised this video hasn't been taken down yet and I expect to be expelled again within a day (eventhough Djokovic won again... lol)

I was on multiple selling forums where people were gleefully buying up supplies then charging $20+ for bottles of hand sanitizer while bragging about how much money they were raking in. He didn't say how much "his friend" raised his prices - if they raised it in line with everyone else, that was gouging. It's unfortunate the other person tried to pre-approve his sales and they banned him anyway, there were so many whack a moles they probably didn't have the mechanism to use a scalpel instead of a sledge.
I moved a couple of my stores to Shift4Shop due to the offer of free services as long as you use their Shift4 payment processing. However, business slowed down on both stores and I ended up losing money. So, getting FREE stores does you no good if you can't sell anything. They have lots of problems with various things and I just did not like them, so moved my stores back to BigCommerce where they were before. So, Shopify and Shift4Shop sucks in my opinion and experience.
