Even though you're correct but the people that are his viewers have always seen him in positive lead roles and for him to switch it over and that too in India which is considered to be a rival country would've not been perceived well.

@@kingdomranuit's sad, kids there are brain washed, and when you have so much hate for people from other religions and/or communities, you won't prosper as much as you are supposed to. Their history subject is so inaccurate, kids can't even learn properly. I don't know about other subjects but seeing their literacy rate it won't be wrong to say that the schools there are not proper. At one time Pakistan was growing economically stronger than India, but now they are even struggling to get their basic needs.

There is nothing to be proud of rejecting a role being an actor. An actor must be prepared to play any role, a protagonist, an antagonist or even a supporting character and experiment his/her skill in different genres. Cinema don’t contain language, nationality, caste, race or religion barrier. He seems to have a great personality, he should have accepted the role, doesn’t matter whether it’s offered from Bollywood in Mumbai, India or Hollywood in Los Angeles, California, after all an actor makes his nation proud when the world recognises and accolades his skill and talent. Sad to see the other guys applauding because he rejected the role.

In one of his movie he fell in love with a hindu Indian lady ,but she refused to comply because he was a Pakistani muslim , so he shouted Allah hu akbar and the Lord Shiva statue at her house started crumbling , she realised her God's are fake and she converted to Islam and married him ...

Pradeep Rawat did a far better job than him in Ghajini. He has a tall, manly, brooding personality with a powerful manly voice and he looked far more formidable as a villain than what Mr Shan would have looked.

I enjoyed watching Cake myself but how many such movies are currently being made in Pakistan. Majority of your films still copy the bollywood song /dance format and films like JPNA, MPNJ, LW are all prime examples of that. The above films were blockbusters but tell me how much money did Cake make? And they are pretty pathetic as watching Humayun Saeed dance is not a sight I would wish even on my enemies! I don't know why but Pakistanis love to gloat over their achievements even before they have achieved anything or keep digging up their past and live in it.

Shaan is right when he says the role can be performed by anybody. If a director finds you convincing it is his vision. You agree or disagree. Actors know what is reel and what is real. Don’t bring jingoistic perspective to it. Tomorrow if a well meaning Pakistani gentleman extends a friendly invitation to him.
