For Ohtani, SB is a part of his pitching rehab. Hitting only would not be helpful, but running and stealing help improve his body's flexibility and instantaneous responsive ability.

@@rainbowhouse3427 in 6 seasons , Trout/Ohtani only played 449 out of 972 possible games together due to injuries sustained, and the occasional off day. Trout provided less than 50% protection - and no one else stepped in with any consistency. Imagine what Shohei’s numbers could have been if he were pitched to more often. Freddie and Will should provide much better support

If I were Roberts I would try and put othani in number 4 batting spot. Even just 5 games to see how the batting lineup gets better results. Not only for the team but also for Othani himself. This tactics will help Freddie to his old form which his comfort zone. And likely more pressure to the opposing pitchers. Being fourth of the lineup, can help Othani less pressure and have room to see and study all pitches from the opposing team.

This team is still the same as any year. Not enough run production coupled with Dave's poor decision making. Grove is his new Jansen. What a waste of talent this team is!
