How would you answer this of you were in an internship with that company and now they are interviewing you for a permanent position? Obviously they would have gotten to know you somewhat throughout the internship, so how would you answer the "why" differently?
This is a great topic, I may make a video on it! But I think the key here is to highlight your on the role growth and impact. And if they put value in it, team/value/culture fit!
I heard about someone answering that question when they were interviewing for an R&D Scientist position saying "Well, Postdoc salaries suck!" ----> Kinda creative, but again, bad reasoning
