We finally get the transmission separated from the engine and go over it with a fine tooth comb showing you the viewer whats really going on with this "DIALING IN A BELL HOUSING" situation. It's a bad deal and the transmission really sucks! We end up using the Bread Trick on removing the pilot shaft bearing. We also find out that American Power Train Transmission Parts SUCK!

The cost of restoring a car is way beyond most peoples budgets. $5,000 for a transmission, $15,000 for an engine, $5,000 for a paint job. It’s ridiculous.

I rebuild my own transmissions. So much cheaper that way and I know everything inside is brand new!

He is going to have a million dollars in that transmission! Maybe consider having a machine shop take the original style bell housing and a bell housing that will bolt up to the transmission, cut them in half and weld the two halves that are needed together.

It is sad situation, should of purchased a complete 5 speed setup for just under $5000. That thing would've been painted and back in England by now.

Pete your customer should have done some research on American drivetrain bbb reviews everyone loves the company their employees must have sent in the reviews 5 star rating bullshit go to yelp their rating is 2 stars wrong parts parts missing bad customer service if they can get anyone to pick up phone you are not alone I hope you're charging the customer the grief he's put you through
