People act like ge whips out his bankai. Instant win. He canbarely control it and the one time he used it, it tried to kill him too. If he used that against Starrk he wouldve killed Starrk but then died too. Powerful but it has disadvantages.
Theres a reason this guy was chosen to be the Head Captain after Old man Yama. He not only has the experience and power to become the captain commander but he also has the charisma and intellect needed to become a true leader.
We already got to witness the might of captain commander Shunsui way back when every other captain was fighting the espada with their bankai released, shunsui on the other had literally defeated the Primera Espada Starrk with just his shikai! Quite insane tbh….

No hes not. Owl lillie destroyed kyoraku. If he was really op then the bankai would have more than 1 story. Maybe like the sun getting swallowed up or something i dont know. The dumb sword was an ass pull if i have ever seen one. So no kyoraku got DESTROYED this arc. He's not a good captain commander just a good captain. The zero squad was a waste.
You said that Shunsui scales higher than Bankai Yamamoto because Shunsui's Bankai was able to significantly damage Lille, and this somehow equates to Shunsui being automatically above Bankai Yamamoto? It's as if Yama's Bankai wouldn't be able to do the same thing to Lille. Yama outclasses Shunsui in everything else (Zanjutsu, Kido, Shunpo, Hakudo, Battle Tactics). Plus, he has millenia of combat experience. Yama is stated to be the strongest captain, and by extension, the strongest shinigami (with perhaps the exception of the Zero Squad) even after his death. He is stronger than Aizen, Unohana, Shunsui, and all the other captains.
@@timadethis4257 why? Yamamoto himself said, that he isnt the head of the Gotei 13, because he wanted it, he is the Commander, because not a single shinigami is born, who stronger than him(dont count Ichibei in, because he is on a different "level" because his gift, from the Soul King).

yea thats a big problem in figuring out the overall power of people kenpatchi lost to a shikai ichigo but then for the rest of the story is always shown as this unbeatable beast espada 4 seems OP but he was only shown against a ichigo that struggled against espada 6

People really underestimate him because he’s one of the easy going captains. His shikai wreck Byakuya,Soi fon,Toshiro, and Sanji all in their bankai states. They should’ve considered him one of the top 5 war potentials since his bankai was still unknown along with Kisuke and Kenpachi

Well I think Shunsui's bankai is a development from his Shikai. When the Shikai turns Children's game into reality, I think his bankai brings Drama or Role Playing act into reality (but I think still in the form of illusion 😂). His Zanpakuto has 2 spirits (or 1 spirit in 2 form maybe) and I think the child spirit represents his shikai and the adult spirit represents his bankai So IMO Shunsui actually has more than just one scenario just like what we see in Manga, he can bring another story and of course with different effect Because I think it's a bit underwhelming if Shunsui's bankai only has 1 scenario for a captain that as tricky and creative as Shunsui like, if Shunsui failed to kill his target during bankai, his enemy will completely counter his bankai as his enemy will know how his bankai works (if he has only 1 scenario) Moreover, when Shunsui failed to kill Lille he said he was ran out of idea. I think this is a clue where Shunsui has to think what kind of scenario that fits the condition and the enemy that he is facing Well, there's a big chance I might be wrong, but that's what I've been thinking
frankly speaking shunsui can easily kill lillie in owl form by just touching him cause its the rule of the game they woulf die if one of them touches them shunsui could have just win this easily if he ever pleased

He has MULTIPLE zanpakuto. He named them and has a myriad of them at his use. He used the best one, a one-hit-kill zanpakuto. No one has that as a sword.
Shunsui's Bankai is so powerful that you literally need immortality or full-body regeneration to survive it. 1 on 1 he doesn't lose to anyone without it.
Not necessarily immortal but if he fights someone whose able to deal high level damage , he can actually die, is bankai is somewhat of a suicide bankai
@@raheemcamal998 Good point. At the end of the day we know he'd be in trouble against anyone with a higher reiatsu but as long as he uses it strategically (which he appears to) it's pretty god like. I also think his advantage against a breathing normal person is huge because he probably has a lot of experience holding his breath for long period of time, someone not anticipating that is going to die a lot quicker.

But one thing we can count on him to do is play strategically, despite is appearance, shunsui is one of the deadliest when it comes to battle , he's very cunning , he will have you dropping your guard and catching you slipping in no time 😂. So yea most definitely if he plays strategically he'll more than likely come out on top.
Shunsui is so dangerous because he seems to be able to add games to his shikai. He can change the rules on the fly. And his bankai I’m betting the play is whatever story he wants to tell. He is crazy OP
I could be wrong but doesn'tKaten Kyokotsu decide which game they will play. I think he was written that way as an effective way to nerf him, if he were to decide the on the rules himself the games would not be as deadly. Still speaks volumes to his character to be able to master such an unruly blade.
Waves of Wano Yea you may be right there, even with that his abilities can change from battle to battle technically which would make it impossible to plan for him. Plus he seems to know the rules of the games already so he’s still at a huge advantage.

Yeah, while I rate Shunsei quite high in power scaling, I still couldn't bring myself to say he above Ol'Man Yama. There's a reason the former Captain Commander never got a fight on even terms, because I think Kubo knew that no one could really withstand his true power.

I don't really see universal or even multiversal as wank because in the fight between Aizen and Ichigo Aizen basically complains about Ichigo's strength and says "I still don't feel anything. By achieving evolution into a dimension separate from Shinigami, both Shinigami and humans have become unable to feel my reiatsu unless I voluntarily lower my level and allow them to interfere, in the same way that a two-dimensional being is unable to interfere with a third-dimensional being. It was clearly stated that ONLY JUHA BACH could steal Yama's bankai. Meaning only the absolute strongest QUINCY could steal Yama's bankai. Its a clear reason they didnt send Lille Barro to fight Yammotto, he would've EASILY got clapped. Shunsui is an underrated BEAST. But no, he 100% is not equal to Yamma.
Kubo did to shunsui exactly what he did to stark, stark was destroying 2 vizards and then got blind sided by shunsui, shunsui got the W already but got blindsided as well, i would just add kubo drew a couple of pages of people reacting to shunsui's reiatsu, the only guys who got that same reiatsu reactions are Yamamoto and Aizen.
Could you do a hypothetical Shunsui vs Kenpachi analysis. I mean if Kenpachi went rouge and turned on the soul society could Shunsui get the job done with all his abilities and Nanao's God paddle? I mean to be the captain Commander means to put all the other captains in check so with that being said could he put Kenpachi down if he went rouge?

@@demonicfruit8358 Actually Kenpachi does have a hax ability of cutting thru anything...even space(which is intangible). He demonstrated this in his fight with Gremmy(ch.578 pg.7-10). Zaraki would kill Shunsui quite easily without even using his shikai or bankai. He wouldn't even have to fight Shunsui sword to sword because he can cut him in half with the force of his zanpakuto without touching him! This is proven in his first exchange with Gerard(ch.666 pg.18). Shunsui's bankai has nothing strong enough to stop Zaraki!
If nimaiya was going to fight ywach with sayafushi it’s possible that the other royal guards beside ichibei also fought with their inventions rather than their bankais which makes scaling a bit problematic, but good video.
Heyo beautiful, I noticed you haven't done "why shinji is stronger than you think" keep doing your epic videos however, I'll still enjoy them. But just to point out my boi: I think shinji is the only person to see through aizens sword, though I'm unsure whether aizens was using his sword or kido, but in the 100 past year arc: shinji literally teared through aizens veil of invisibility. I think that is the *only* exception (other than the final fight) that someone has said no to aizens bs.
It was a bakudo (bending light). And there has only been one person to break Kyoka Suigetsu's control and it took two days of practically changing his soul for that to happen.

well, he did use it against lille who also is immortal. And has shown, it isn't enough to kill them. THey can probably only be defeated by power like Ichibei's dar castle or yamamoto's enetsu jigoku, who would simply wipe them up entirely. I think they kinda work like buu in dbz if you know what I mean. Immortal until someone simply erase them from existence
I agree. He IS the strogest character in Bleach. The Zero Squad is a total garbage. A bunch of clowns. I cant believe it how weak they are compared to Kyoraku. They're not serious to defeat their enemies, even hesitate to show their Bankai when facing overpowered enemies. Means they are NOT serious to protect the Soul King.
Tbf, to get into the squad, you need to do something innovative that is beneficial to the soul society. Firepower isnt what zero squad is looking for. That is reserve for the Gotei 13. Sure its lackluster, but they did help ichigo and renji gains a lot of power. And I do feel Yamaji is the strongest char in bleach. Im pretty sure he can beat all the royal guard with no problem. That's why Kubo killed him early. Hes too op.
Yamamoto may be stronger than Shunsui in terms of raw battle power yet Shunsui is definitely a better captain commander and a more reliable leader. Also I don't agree some of the comments below pointing yama as a better battle strategist. All those battle skills make yamamoto one of the strongest captains are also possessed by Shunsui at notable level even tho lesser than yamamoto's. But there is one important thing which Shunsui definitely owns while Yamamoto 100% lacks and that is discernment. İf you watch anime all over again you'll realize that Yama's judgement was poor in most critical moments and some of his decisions were varying between reckless and incompetent. So yeah Shunsui > Yama
Your scaling is super Inconsistent. I can tell now. Shinsui is not stronger than Yamamoto. The Zero squad's combined might was said to be stronger than the Gotei 13. This is clearly wrong.
Another important factor is matchup compatibility. Hitsugaya is one of the strongest out there but vs Yamamoto hes useless.Just because 0 squad got bodied by a sternritter due to poor writing by kubo I dont think hes stronger than the royal guard.For heavens sake did the royal guard even use their shikais let alone their bankais. The zero squad was just fodder to show how strong the sternritter were and they were miserable in proving that as well.

Yamamoto is stronger than shunsui and jushirou put together, we’ve seen them fight twice and the royal guards are stronger than shunsui too. Nimaiya was taken out by a surprise attack from Lille and the other elite Quincy received a pseudo vollstandig which they combine with their Schmidt to take out the ignorant royal guards.
@@trugoblin7578 Yamamoto's mere presence is probably enough to evaporate Shunsui's Bankai water thing or boil him alive, he basically has a one shot kill sword which is better than the Zero squad dude's and he can bring the dead back to fight for him. You're misunderstanding it. It was that the royal guard together was stronger than the gotei 13, not each of them individually and given their role in the series as the personal guards of the soul king (basically bleach god) it doesn't seem so farfetched
Bankai Yamamoto scales to Royd who's below the schutzstaffel and Shunsui scales to elite sternritter tier characters. A lot of people say that Yamamoto only used bankai because he thought he was fighting Yhwach which I agree with but they completely leave out that Royd (for the most part) survived a 1v1 confrontation with him and that was just a basic sternritter using a schrift. You could argue that he copied Yhwach's power but that was literally just him using his schrift but he's still ranked below the Schutzstaffel. Yamamoto is Similar to Zaraki in this case because although he outclasses other characters in raw power he lacks the means to use it effectively and this is probably what Yhwach meant when he said he was the only one that could handle Yamamoto's bankai

It doesn't mean she was stronger than yamaji. Kyoraku went from losing a eye against a normal stenritter to defeating Lille. Niyimaya one shot all the elite stenritter. Then yhwach brings them all back to life using his aushwalth selection and they proceed to off screen defeat the zero squad while lower captains after a little training and super reiastu put up a better fight. The Zero squad were killed off to give the captains the spot light. Ichibei performed the moat broken feats and got killed by yhwach but he refused to kill Ichigo, just break his sword so he will kill him in the end. Yhwach could see Atleast hours into the future but could ishida coming with the steel silver which was a deus ex machina. Even the 8th kenpachi called the strongest by aizen who could move in mugen surrender when he felt the zero squad coming. Yamamoto knew that if you show the full ability of your zampakuto, it can get stolen. He told fake yhwach, he didn't show him the full ability 1000 yrs ago then proceeds to show the full ability even though it was not necessary just because it was time to be killed off. Yamaji was said to have abnormal reiatsu level and in their fight ukitake and Kyoraku tried to occupy him until the matter is resolved. Saying he is weaker than Kyoraku alone is a wank. Same as his unohana supposedly the current kenpachi never fought in all the world ending battles until she had to fight zaraki to release his true power. Gremmy was considered the strongest stenritter even in the light novels and yet see how he died. In conclusion Kyoraku isn't stronger than yamaji or the zero squad. The fullbringer with the book of end used his ability to help restore Ichigo sword. Lets create video of how book of end is equal to the almighty and trumps Ichibei's power of black and name
@@karma1507 No. You're contradicting the lore of the TYBW. It's implied and stated that yamamoto defeated Yhwach even with his ALMIGHTY 1,000 years ago. Yhwach with almighty was holding his own against ichibei. Therefore bankai yamamoto scales above the sternritters.
