OMG WOW😱‼️ What a lovely place to live and visit. Soooo glad you chose some different places to sail to as we’ve all seen the usual. They are also nice, yet Gambier is so very niiiice🎉 🎉?? Have never eaten that fish. See you next time. ✨🌊💨⛵️🏝️👙🌞✨
Nice! The island is at 23.11S, 134.97E - if you find that coordinate and zoom out in (Google) maps until you see the circle of the earth and place this in the middle, then it dawns on you how far away this is from continents. It seems like Australia is (a bit) farther away than Antarctica and South America from here.
Congrats on the 12 years together, y’all. 🎉 What a nice island. As nice as seeing Curtis giving Peter a hand in fixing his boat (sailing community at its finest) and the marlin stakes prepared by chef Curtis. Nice job. Y’all rock!
Wow. That was not only entertaining but very educational. The narration and editing are amazing. Coffee with Sweet Ruca just keeps getting better. I'll have to research how the marketing chain works with the pearls getting from the Islanders to the stores now. Pretty amazing how the old Tall Ships are upgraded with modern technology. Yall keep having fun and stay safe. Bill
From Patagonia, to the middle of the unknown Gambiera Islands. Every Adventure is a stunner. Two Sailors and a Dog I can state a yours is a Gift that keeps giving in an adventures life well lead. Thanks Kate very good narration. SV Skoiern IV PS the saying goes a True Traveler Never Arrives.
The bark europa is pretty famous, they go down to antarctica. In covid times they sailed from cape horn back to the netherlands in one go because they weren’t allowed in anywhere else.
Always a bit weird to hear people claim they have the ‘first’ sustainable yacht not using fossil fuels, when all the boats before they invented the fuel engin were fossil free and sustainable. 😊
Peter said 'welcome aboard to the first self-sustaining yacht' - I don't think that is an accurate statement - please tell him to check out Capt. Reid Stowe's adventures on his self-built 'Schooner Anne'. Reid made history by being the first to sail 3 years without seeing land/outside help from other people. He is now an artist docked in NYS environs. But if you google his past life, you will find his historic adventure. I went to see him when he docked for his first time after 3 yrs - and for the record, I'm sure he would welcome any comments/questions. -Darcee
We do, too. Unfortunately, RU-vidrs do not choose which ads are shown. As you can imagine, they would be different in each country! Patrons get early viewing with no ads. Just an idea!
