Philippine Education is High Quality. Studying in Philippines is enjoyable. The teachers are happy and respectful of students. Teacher are very friendly and approachable ,,, Student teacher relationship is very good And it is very affordable school fees Philippine education is combine with Arts and Sports and Cultural learnings ,,
Philippine educational instructions are in english. Even books some were authored from US or in europe especially in engineering and sciences but, there are courses that needed to passed the boared or bar before being admitted for employment recognized by the government. Schooling in the Philippines is affordable even in schools rated highly in the world rankings. The problem, if you migrated to countries known economically well-off, these countries made it hard for them to be employed, some countries required them to take another board or repeat some subjects. Maybe, it's hightime now that discrimination be erased or each countries must do the needful if so many migrants who worked abroad could automatically admitted for employment on the same courses. Why? Even some professors in Philippine universities and colleges are graduates in prestigious schools in USA and europe.
Yes, everything here is either English, Spanish or Tagalog. If you want to familiarize yourself in places here, you're forced to learn the Latin Alphabet.
I visited the Philipines in 2017, most beautiful humane people. After all there obstacles and wars they adopt afterwards and carry no grudges. The whole world can learn from this wonderfull nation about forgiveness and love
The pinoy race is a happy race. However this is a disadvantage too. Theyre so happy that they will never be serious to improve to their maximum. Bec the quest for perfection is all about being serious most would rather cut corners just to get it over with and back to happy activities. The phils is lagging behind its Asean neighbors, govt is awfully corrupt yet people dont care because theyre happy with their lives
I AGREE........THEY ARE POLITE TO STRANGERS,,,,,UNTIL U TELL THEM WHAT THEY ARE DOING MAY BE WRONG & CAN BE IMPROVED.....SPECIALLY IN SPORTS ETC.THATS WHY POPULATION 3 TIMES OF AUSTRALIA.MEDALS IN PAST 20 OLYMPIC.........2 AGAINST 300.........OH OF COURSE IT HELPS IF U ARE A YANK WITH BIG PENSION CHECKS
In the first place we practice politeness with our fellow Filipinos, as our parents taught us that we need to respect each other. Respect and being kind you will never be wrong.
Philippines is one of fabulous place happiest place on earth to leave it has a huge amount of natural resources 🇵🇭 Affordable tuition It has thousands virgin islands 👏 Our Filipino professors are brilliant mostly are hands on when it comes of teaching In school wf 🇺🇸u guys are extremely welcome to our beautiful Philippines island 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
YES THEY HAVE HUNDREDS OF ISLANDS.............SO WHY THEN THE GOVT. WANTS SPENT BILLIONS PESOS TO MAKE ANOTHER ISLAND NEAR TAIWAN.RATHER THAN IMPROVE THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT OR HOUSE THE POOR IN PROPER PLANNED MANNER............IS IT THAT SOME ONE GOT INSTRUCTION FROM BOSS BIG APPLE TO FILL ANOTHER ISLAND TO CONTAIN CHINA?????
To study English. Considering to the history of Philippines being conquered by Spain, America & Japan back in the old days Filipino people are very fluent in English to the point that most people can even copy American accent.
@daniloalvarez4268 IF THEY LIVE in those countries. And if so, they don't need to mimick the accent. Filipinos CANNOT EVER copy accents of native English speakers. Just fine accent.
@aquidgamefanboy, the word VERY FLUENT Filipinos in English applies to many educated Filipinos but their number is minute--very little, compared to the majority of Filipinos whose English is just fine, let's put it that way. We have DISTINCT FILIPINO ACCENT that is NOT American accent. Also even some educated ones struggle in English conversations. But no doubt we are very good and also much better in written English than spoken. Our English news both written and on TV is equally good with American news. Overall, we can't really say we are VERY fluent. WE ARE NOT. Just fine.
It's not copying if you're a former American colony. My grandfather and his generation was taught by teachers from the New York city. That's why they spoke English like the Mafia gangsters from Godfather
English is our second language so i'ts not surprising that we speak in English...foreigners must learn the Tagalog dialect as much as possible if they want to interact and learn more about Pilipinos😊❤❤❤
I beg to disagree that foreigners must learn tagalog. Filipinos want to speak english given the chance...i know many expats in the Phils who never learned tagalog yet are now living like kings in the Phils, having the time of their lives
The Filipinos having a good command of the English language should not be a surprising fact anymore. The chosen method of delivery for teaching is AMERICAN STANDARD ENGLISH from nursery to tertiary. All businesses and government departments use English. The first words we use to talk to babies is English! How in the world does the rest of the non-english speaking countries not copy this? 😂 It’s not like we abandoned our national language, we still learn Filipino in school and speak Tagalog in general as well as communicate with our own native tongue at home (for those who have one). FYI: Filipino, the language, is a formalized form of Tagalog. Filipino is the language, Tagalog is the dialect. The one you hear locals use in the street is Tagalog. It still amazes me when someone asks how I learned English… We had 4 English subjects from 3rd grade to college; writing, reading, literature and phonetics. 🤭 Also, the Philippines still retain the competitive spirit in school. It’s the “you got 90 because it’s the best you can do vs you got 100 because that’s all there is to get”. No participation trophy there. I hope they keep it that way because there’s a chance the new generation might want to copy the US mentality of “you pass everyone because you don’t want to hurt their feelings” crap.
THE BELIEVE IN FILIPINO ARE GOOD IN ENGLISH IS TOTALLY WRONG....ONE SIMPLE EXAMPLE IS THAT OF PREPOSITION...IN & ON......THEY NORMALLY SAY I PUT THE VEG ON THE FRIDGE OR I AM ON THE JEEP..EVEN HIGH % OF ATTY. HAVE POOR ENGLISH WRITING SKILLS IN THEIR MEMORANDUM ( MY ENGLISH IS VERY AVERAGE)...............I LIVED, STUDIES, WORKED IN ENGLAND & AUSTRALIA FOR OVER 40 YEARS...I HAVE ENOUGH EXPERIENCE IN MAKING MY COMMENT.S ABOVE............
back in the days (the 80s), we already had influx of foreign students. They continued to become having positions in their respective governments after graduation.
If you meet Filipinos who are educated at top Philippines universities like De La Salle, University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas (UST) and others. You will be surprised at their command of the English language. I had a US born friend and went to Manila for education, he failed his English class. He could not adjust to college level English.
I agree with you. I have a friend, and we both participated in the aptitude test here. I passed the test with flying colors, but my friend who graduated in one of the top universities here failed the test.
If these foreign students are from mainland China, 3 things to be considered why they are in the PH. 1.) They are real students whose intentions are really to study in the PH. 2.) One of the ways to get out of China now is to apply as foreign students. The CCP made it difficut for mainland Chinese to get out of the country. Possibilities that these Chinese students will overstay in the country to get out of China. They are doing that here in the U.S. to overstay after finishing their school year. 3.) These mainland Chinese students could be connected to the CCP as spies for China just like those students that were denied entry to the US last month because of their connection with the CCP.
@@k.k.c8670 it is not possible. Are you a WUMAO? If you are, let me tell you what I know about your kind. You have been swarming countries in Southeast Asia namely Thailand, specifically Bangkok & Changmai. You people have also invaded Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia & Vietnam. In our US Southern border with Mexico, a total of approximately 50,000.00 mainland Chinese have crossed the border illegally. Think about that. Recently, I heard in the German News that in the Province of Cagayan Philippines, a sudden 5000 mainland Chinese enrolled at one University. Cagayan Province is one of the locations of the EDCA sites between Filipino & American Military operations. Here in the US, mainalnd Chinese were caught loitering close to our Military Base & was caught taking pictures of the facilities. Keep that in mind. People of like minded from free world, is well aware what the CCPs intentions are. Keep that in mind.
Thank you for choosing our country as your place in pursuing your education. Hope you will succeed in the near future after finishing your chosen degree. Break a leg.
You didn't mention UST or the University of Santo Tomas which is also a top university in the Philippines. It is the oldest university in asia, even older than Harvard. It has produced national heroes, presidents, justices of the supreme court, even saints
There are also good schools in Central Visayas. There are many international students enrolled in Cebu. And don't forget Silliman University, the first American school in the Philippines located in Dumaguete City.
Dialects are, warays, cebu,Pampanga, pangasinan and more Provinces speaking in dialects, Tagalog Filipino National Languages. Humm🤔 I still remember thank you....

Why? Philippines educational instructions are in english. Books on subjects were even imported from US and other countries depending on recognized origins of popular or known instructional materials. Students from english speaking countries could easily adapt in schools. If you are a foreigner, whose language are different, they could easily learn english as, filipino students are friendly they will be your stepping stones to learn more english and filipino languages as, students are friendly and conversant. Schooling in the Philippines, have much lower tuitions than in known schools abroad. Students transportations are cheap and alway available anywhere you go unlike in other countries. To know better, try visit the Philippines, to know which schools are classified as better ranked in the world. Schools like University of the Philippines, most students are government scholars. Universities like, La Salle, Ateneo, Sto. Thomas in Metro Manila are highly ranked school and there are schools too in visayas and mindanao, with good educational qualities. Students from abroad will surely enjoy in the Philippines, since filipinos are friendly and they could easily assimilate. Let it be known, some teachers and professors are learned their professions such, Harvard, Stanford and other known schools in US, Europe and other countries abroad.
Everything are Affordable, good teaching and almost filipino understand and can speak english , easy to get along with .. very friendly and hospitable people
We don't claim that everyone can speak fluent English but I assure you won't get lose anywhere because people can communicate with the language. we just love to live life no matter what so please don't disturb us with aggression because we are a peace loving and hospitable people
Talking about cheap, where we live now, the cost of a full family meal in the Philippines is just the same amount as the tips to the server + tax on that same meal.
Adventist University of the Philippines has been known to be a prestigious center of topnotch education establishment since 1908. International students have been flocking there too and it is Level 4 as per National Accreditation Board of Education as well as Level 4 Institution by the United States-based Accrediting Association of Seventh Day Adventist Schools, Colleges and Universities. It was recognized to be founded in 1917 but was originally started in 1908. I know it because I graduated from AUP and I am here in the U. S. A.
Primarily because of the Philippines' open culture and diversity plus the climate. There are way cheaper schools around the world but not so welcoming as the Philippines and the culture - not diverse at all. Students love to learn... and have fun, too. With The Philippines being the only Christian nation in Asia, you can expect these young foreign students to enjoy their student lives in various ways - there's the people, the cities and the unlimited things they can offer, and the very accessible mountains and beaches.👍🏿 Not to mention, the level of education in The Philippines is quite competitive worldwide and the teachers and Filipino student alike are very much patient and eager to share their learnings to young people from around the world.👍🏿 If you are a foreign student and would like to live in a place where you can easily be one with the locals, The Philippines is the place to go and study.👍🏿
Very cheap to study in the Philippines, yet you will learn english, tagalog and spanish a little, also local langauges. Filipinos are respectful and very down to earth.
Because, tuition fee are low, food not so expensive, boarding house is alo available , English is our secondary language. So it's easy for them to understand. 4:41
The MAIN REASON is that College Education (undergraduate and post-graduate) uses ENGLISH as the medium of instruction. The Philippines has 2 OFFICIAL LANGUAGES: English and Tagalog (sometimes called "Pilipino"). Filipino vloggers who talk in English are college-educated. Tagalog vloggers are those with only a High-School education. Or went to college at the diploma mills, where the Instructors themselves cannot speak English.
not so true daming college graduate na d nga marunong mag english it doesn't mean na graduate,ng college may high command sila in english .dami din akong kilala na high school graduate lang pero fluent sila mag english.
Kaya nga sabi niya yung college graduates na di marunong mag ingles graduate ng diploma mill di niya sinabi na lahat ng college graduates marunong mag ingles. Yung mahuhusay magingles yung graduates ng prestigious universities. Same case sa high school.
hi dave im frm. cebu bisayan langueds i think your content is atrack for a new subs, cebuanos liked this kind of content become favor for tourism my country, thanks promoted phillipines,,, im romel a bisayan languedges,, usbon ko daghan kaayong salamat sa pag imbitag mga stujanting langyaw paingon deris pilipinas,,, ❤❤❤❤❤🎉
Davao university has lots of international students. Unfortunately, Mindanao has been ignored for decades by the previous administrations, especially the Aquinos.
the israel thing is weird talking about blibical stuff, the only thing that are make sense to me is the fact about WW2 about jewish during japan occupation and philipino in the US army during the holocaust.
Who wouldn't want to go to school in cheap paradise? A few bucks makes them look rich. Many years ago, Philippines used to be the playground of rich people from Middle East. Their kids goes to school there complete with driver and housemaids. Who's rich parents wouldn't want that for their children? Our tourists back then are rich people. Unlike today, a lot of tourists are budget tourists. Some are credit card tourists. Foreigners marrying Filipinas back then were rich guys and willing what ever it cost to marry a Filipina. Marriage with foreigners back then was rare because the opportunity was slim through penpal writing. It was rare until US military bases had arrived.
In 1977 I had already, Japanese, Thailander, Americans and Iranian classmates @ Silliman University. And I can see some Russian, Nigerian and other African students in our school.
Israelis are Filipinos spiritual Brothers and sisters, and many theologians believed that the Philippines is the land of opher, the one mentioned in the Bible during the reign of King Solomon. Probably we have a spiritual connection the closeness and the strong bonding of Filipinos and Israel because of our spiritual beliefs.
To consider for foreign student they were so cheap to live in our country cause they were using the U.S dollar currency when the money is converted to Philippine currency they multiply the value 50 x there fore it would be cheap but for locals the cost of living were huge already cause we earn in minimum wages daily those were the realities Try to make a video contents by earning a minimum wages income for 1 month and try to survived it for 1 month if you can survived it for a month of expenses
Please define affordable. You say education, restaurant, accomodations are affordable but don't mention any figures. If you are converting from US dollars, Euro, or Sterling, yes the Philippines is affordable. However, prices are really going up. For those living in The Philippines and earning in Philippine pesos, things are expensive.
The education in Philippines is cheap for foreigners. Women here is cheap, everything is cheap for them but expensive for Filipinos. Dollar Vs peso... One dollar is equivalent to 56... That's the reason aside the Philippines have efficient educators..
Filipino Graduates don't work as maids. Why should we. Maybe nurses as it is part of this studies. But nobody works as maids if you were a college degree holder
To answer your title question: It is cheaper to do business, study or play in the Philippines as compared to Communist China. Besides, it is much safer in the Philippines.
Now you can see your channel little bit growing because you changed your thumbnail for good, click baiting doesn't help to grow the channel because there are some people don't accept negative vibe 🤔
Pilipino is the national language based on Tagalog. There is NO F in the Pilipino alphabet. Filipino is a person. Filipinas is named after King Filip or Felipe, the husband of Qween Isabela of Spain. He is Prince Philip of England, hence the Philippines. 🎉
Abakada Alphabet with .20 letters (old) to modern Filipino Alphabet with 28 letters (1987)....Filipino alphabet already includes "F" and other letters like C, J, Q, V, X, Z & ñ. The term Filipino refers to the people/inhabitants and language of the Philippines.
some came from iraq before they where force into islam they where jewish ....ophir escorted them and landed in the north with queen sheba now called CEBU IN THE NORTH THEY COMMINGLE WITH FIRST NATION THAT GOT LOST ON THE SEA [ TIKI TIKI VOYAGE BY A NORWEGIAN ARCHEOLOGIST ] the first nation are savvy in gold mining that led solomon to seek out PH as the gold that came from PH are sought after by the PHARAOH
And the audacity of other nations to belittle our english accent is overwhelming.i cant even comprehend it.americans don't even speak and write english correctly.
Not all. Educated Americans do speak and write fluently especially graduates from highly prestigious schools like MIT, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Georgetown. Like everywhere, some people don’t pursue higher learning but that does not mean their intellectual growth is stunted - some self-educate and end up well-versed and successful.
yes, filipinos speak english better than their asian cousin countries, and yet poorer compared to Singapore, Malaysia, Brunie, south Korea, japan, Taiwan, china, vietnam and thailand,..what say you?
