I took Irbesartan for years now I can't get it refilled. I've been off of it for over 6mths. Now I think I need something else for blood pressure. Thank you for all the info on this med.
I would like to have dialog with you. There has been congressional hearings on this subject now. Also, the FDA has not been involved with inspections of a huge number of overhead facilities. In essence, we dont know what is in a lot of these medications. An independent lab found the NDMa.
I have just started taking irbesartan for five days so I checked my pressure first and it said 124/ 94 so I took the irbesartan at 7a.m. In the morning and checked my pressure 4hrs after and it reads 134/113 something is truly wrong
Hi Jeff - can you advise me where the main ingredients for Sandoz- Bisoprolol 5mg. comes from and also where are the pills manufactured. I was on the Sandoz Valsartan 160mg. for 4 years - I am sick and was the whole time [ 4 years ] I was on that drug. Nausea and chronic diarrhea - and now I have a diminished eGFR. Level 3 CKD - and who knows what else I'll have in the future. So glad I found your channel - you are doing a good public service. We have a right to know what we are taking and where it comes from. @@JeffthePharmacist there was no active recall because NDMA has never been studied on humans. It has only been studied on lab animals. It is however used to induce cancer tumors and lung disease in lab animals. But because of code, the highest recall was only voluntary.

Apologizing in American culture has turned into 1) an admission of guilt, and 2) accepting any and all liability for the mistake. I'd expect to not see an apology, and their PR team was well-advised about Americans.
