Honestly if so many people watched the video why does this video only have 286 likes ... should be up the 40,000 by now. Thanks a lot man, your video helped solved a year long problem that I just gave up on. Much appreciated for sharing that knowledge.
It's opposite for me. The only channel that my phone can detect is 36 and still couldn't connect. It's says failed to obtain ip address. Samsung Galaxy S9+
This is also a problem the opposite way. So on my Moto G 5G plus the hotspot on 5Ghz is sent out on a high channel. I want to use my Asus AC57U router as a repeater but it can't see the 5Ghz hotspot for some reason. Maybe because the higher DFS channels can't be seen by the Asus router. This is also the case on a 2012 Macbook pro which can see plenty of 5Ghz networks, just not the ones on higher channels. There is no way to change this on the phones as this is using dynamic frequency selection.
Too bad my internet provider doesn't let you change wifi channels. All advanced settings are hidden and locked away. You even have to rent the modem you cannot buy ugh. They are they best provider in the area though.
my galaxy z flip 3 issue is not related to it i think. router is already in higher channel but every now and then the 5ghz network disappears from the list and can't connect. my other samsung devices, means previous note 8 and also tablet do not have the issue. but the galaxy z flip 3 is too annoying!
@@khandakershahi bro atlast i found that the mode 11an/n/ac mixed cant find by my note 9.if you want to use 5GHz network then buy a new router and check the mode before 802.ac and the chennel prblm is because of country satellite locked thats why the router cant show more chennels.
Bro My Device is Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 ....My Device Connect 5g WiFi but not Showing 5g In WiFi list ...but the same time my other phone Redmi Note 4 connect 5g with 5g speed ....Give me solution
Can anybody tell me why my channel number doesn't show more than 48? As I am using Galaxy S8, need to change the channel number over 150/153 to use 5Ghz wifi.
After further research I’ve Discovered that the new Samsung 4K 7 & 8 Series TVs are not capable of receiving anything but a 2G WIFI Signal unless you use an external WIFI USB card
