Iam not an astronomer, but I think moon is tidally locked to earth. Which means the near side will always face earth (even during solar Eclipse). Moon is on synchronous rotation which means it rotates at the same rate as its orbital motion. Please validate this info and correct the video

Right... The far side always faces away from the Earth and the near side always faces towards the earth. This is why whenever we look up at the moon at night, the same old craters are visible at same orientation

I think we can’t see far side of the moon even during eclipse. Moon is tidally locked with earth (meaning rotation time of moon coincides with its revolution around earth). During eclipse we can’t see moon, since there is zero/no reflection of sunlight. But the side which faces earth is the same one.

One factor you should consider is that the near side of moon will be very hot on account of continuous exposure to sun. At poles, the incidence of sunlight will be minimal. If ever human habitation is set up on moon, it will be concentrated at the poles, especially the southern pole which is more level field.
@harshit6692
@harshit6692 10 месяцев назад
both near side and far side of moon receive equal amount of sunlight...its just that since moon's one side(near side) is tidally locked to earth and we can only see that side, some people called the far side as dark side which is technically incorrect.
