AAA studios proving once again why we should support indie devs, they listen. Blame “sony” whatever you want, this is all of gaming, has been for awhile. They dgaf, they made money, now theyre on vacation.

I honestly just felt like they had no Dlc for a year now if they give a dlc I will be surprised but Insomniac probably moved onto Wolverine because Spiderman wasnt their only superhero game they are focusing on this time

They're not making any Spider-Man 2 DLC, simply put: they made Spider-Man 2 as big as they could, and let's face it, they're saving Carnage for Spider-Man 3. They are being very honest in saying there are no plans to make any SM2 DLC either. This is no lie. They are working on other things right now - Wolverine. Remember all those mass lay-offs? Insomniac, Rockstar and other large company lay-offs. This was due to post-COVID lockdown down-turns in computer game sales, Insomniac have slightly downsized their international studios, they have since laid a few people off, and are now focusing on working on Wolverine with a more focused work group. Wolvy is their main priority now. Spider-Man 2 sold extremely well, mission complete! On to the next one. The rest of the story they can put into the next Spider-Man game.

What the hell does being 'dead' mean? It's a single player game. Do you expect people to continuously play it after they.. maybe.. Finish the game??? Also I fail to see how them announcing a bunch of DLC way before it'll actually come out (assuming they are doing DLC which I hope they don't) will benefit anyone. We know from the Spiderman 2 teaser till release, the community did NOT like that wait at all. Why repeat it? This community is so hypocritical.
