Why spirituality without the Bible doesn't work

I raised 75k and Christina Ann Tucker is to be thanked. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in dept then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Christina A. Tucker is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!

If I can reach the same place or state the rabbi exudes with his clarity then I'm not going to fight it, king James is what I read but have read the legends of the Jews, dead sea scrolls, melchizedek, have read Torah also, & more besides, one conclusion I've reached is that the living word is present in them all, it has its own unique substance. @Y1836Y it's limited by its archaic scriptures , move beyond that and they pull you back into the fold...heretical behaviour tends not to be seen a positive light in these religions that wrap a their culture around somebody's spirituality, tell your religious mates you've been delving into Shinto or Australian aboriginal spirituality and see how far that gets you, yeh it's the equivalent of stepping into a box and letting them close it on you, been there done that, it's incredibly limiting, for me it would be a spiritual torture.

God needs no partner. He is one,and beside him there is NO OTHER ! Thinking we are in some sort of partnership is ludicrous at best. The best we can ever achieve is to share in his presence. Are you trying to convey that opposition to God in man cannot be observed ? I think you will find that opposition within mankind has & is far more popular than any " partnership". Ha'Satan's claim is that we are not worthy to reside with God. But this aside... If you want a decent game , you need an opponent in the first instance. Unless you would rather see man as an " experiment". Two friends that luv each other can be opponents for the purpose of enjoyment.

We don't 'believe'. We know. We are a part of yet separate. To be with instead of intrinsically part of it has to be so.

We don't get the relevance of the Torah from outsiders. That's the beginning of all problems.

It is not from outsiders. It's from us Jews.

That's pretty hollow. And self serving. What do we have potential for? Who gave it to us and why?

@@Y1836Y Nothing hollow about it. Each individual has a different purpose. There is nothing hollow about ones potential. It is very deep & very complex. HaShem created us with " equity". In fact, equity is all he installs in creation. Equity is potential. And is found in evey atom of everything created. From the sub atomic particle to the complete sum total of sub atom particles. It is found in the smallest of creatures to whole planets. Why ? Because ones potential is all that can be inserted if " free Will" is also to be inserted. There is no other alternative. Our potential is there due to what constitutes man in seperation from all other living organisms. There has never existed a society of man void of spiritual pursuit...not once...not ever !! Our desire to seek " worship" is the only function of man that animals do not possess. This is because without such an inherent desire, God is not found. And the temptation to move into false worship becomes stronger. We are created within a created environment. The Garden was a place on earth. As per scripture descript. The idea of the Garden having celestial seperation is untrue, non scriptural & very poor teachings.

Improve for what reason? For what desired result? Who decides what improvement is or means or its value?

@@Y1836Y One of the first lessons is found in Cain & Abel : improve & you will be better favoured ( as per offerings ). There is no direction to be " a shepard". There is however the direction to be a crop farmer. Abel improved upon the punishment imposed upon his father ( to till the soil - crop farmer ). Improvement is seen in all definition as " moving forward with the arrow of time in order for greater betterment. By improving our own lives we influence the improvement of society. Improvement is measured by " joy". The more joy we experience from life. The greater the improvement. We as individuals see this as a transition from " existing" into " living". The more " joy" we receive from creation, the greater the improvement.

@@Y1836Y Absolutely everything is up for improvement. Everything ! Whatever position we examine, improvement is always possible. We are engineered to " create". This is what separates the human soul from the animal soul within all of us. It is due to the fact that we were created as a function to move towards HaShem. Proximity is not illusionary. The closer one gets the more dominance the human part of the soul has over the animal part of the soul. This is what "evil" is in man as opposed to a " force". The ability to rule over that part of the animal soul. The more evil, the more the behaviour resembles that of an animal. This is actually what judaism offers. The guidelines set out in scripture as a way of life, naturally supercedes " the wanted ways" of that which is carnal ( the way of the animal ). It is set out quite clearly with our authority to dominate over animals. Shalom.

The Torah is absolute Truth. It's G-d. It is further enjoyed and understood with those sefers (books) and many others. That's not an exhaustive list of our resources. All inspired by G-d. All giving more insight of the layers of meaning G-d provides to get to know Him better. And to be closer to Him.
