Def getting one of these. I'm a glass lover and have quite a collection of honey gold E and S glass rods, lamiglas, fenwicks, kencors, st croixs some daiwas and loomises. Nothing like a gold glass fishing pole
I started out using the Legend Glass in the M/M 7'2" spinning model and caught my PB Largemouth and Smallmouth bass back to back using lipless crankbait's. I switched to the casting model and it's just as good. You'd be hard pressed to find a rod that will keep them pinned at it's price point!
When I think about my ST. Croix LGC72MM, sensitivity doesn't come to mind. Ability to stay loaded however does come to mind. I will always have a place for this rod in my arsenal. I fish it using squarebill's and standard crankbaits from 3/8oz. to 5/8oz. Paired with Abu Garcia's Revo EXD-W, Power Pro Super Slick V2 15lb moss braid "main line" to Seaguar INVIZX " 8 to 10 pound, length (6 to 8 feet leader length)" Never had a bad experience yet!
What a load of crap. You can feel it with a Avid Spinning fast action medium power too. Title is bogus. Glass casts very good, if . . . You know how to cast. Money money and money
Have lure fished in England for around 50 years, used every type of glass rod from light action Trout rods to 11' ultra fast taper stepped up carp rods and used a lot of carbon lure rods but have gone back to glass models because l prefer the feel of them but the glass rods do not transmit the feel of the lures anywhere near as well as carbon does!!
