Men argue based on logic, facts and stick to the topic at hand... women argue based on emotions and feelings. And they bring up stuff that happened years before and use it as a Bait.. nowadays women do it almost deliberately to provoke men to the point that they react violently. Those who are able to hold back have the patience and will of the Buddha or are deathly scared of a domestic violence cases being piled on them
Sir I disagree. Mostly Women are never ready to listen any articulated logical response. It is not that men can't articulate n talk logically, but it is other way round , if responded logically in an articulated manner women feel losing the battle and in that case they either become agressive or play imotional card with a full illogical force.

I consider myself fortunate in this situation that my parents never engaged in physical fights. They may have disagreed and argued with each other at sometimes, but ultimately they always found a way to move on !

my uncle committed suicide when her wife filed a police complaint against domestic violence in 1995 he could not tolerate the insult and humiliation when the police came for enquiry and also the cops called him to the PS for further questioning he used to work from 9am to 9pm six days a week and there was a lot of work pressure and he couldn't bear it anymore!

Very true, There are several married man who would commit this any day but will live with the pain and anguish forever for their kids. Typical fathers who will give their lives for kids by fighting with the enemy within the house. Guruji can say anything but it's super hard to deal with an unreasonable person who brings issues of 5-10-15 years back for no reason. There are several risks to your mental health and be ready for all of them if you want to get married. No one will not come to save you when you are going through the mental and verbal abuse daily.

With due respect. I do agree that men use more cuss words and they are more violent in nature. But i have found less sense in women talk than men. Women bring out issue of past, is that necessary? That's their natural skill, and men are weak in that. And I prefer using my brain to some productive task then remeber past fight topics. Apart from that, i agree to ask your points that men need to articulate well instead of being more aggressive.
Everything that you said makes so much sense, Sir. The reason for so much boost in confidence of the so-called oppressed gender is the existence of extremely partial laws of a so-called equal country India. A man cannot get raped. A man cannot get cheated on. A man cannot get domestically violated. Such non-sensical and unjust laws will further widen the gaps in society. If some community feels that they deserve a better place, then need to earn it for themselves and not beg the government for bringing it in for them. Most importantly, the opposite gender is not ready to buy anything on the grounds of logic. They know nothing of that sort. I remember debating with someone on why boys clear JEE more often than girls, which is not the case in the NEET exam which is more of a test of cramming power unlike JEE which is a test of critical thinking and logic and she was just not ready to accept the fact that women lack the skills relevant to JEE.

Spot on analysis of communication between men and women . There are 2 corollaries: It will work for men to be better communicator in a lot of situations . But illogical actions can not be defended by logical arguments. Men's position in society , the licence is different . It's changing but influences are deeply ingrained . When women start losing arguments its quickly followed by personal attacks, yelling and even physical provocation like slapping, pushing or dragging the collar. In most instances nowadays it's women initiate the violence and when men retaliate... the effects are more pronounced and visible. And he instantly gets branded as a woman beater... and his life from thereon becomes a living hell.
It was a realistic situation of today's generation, future will be much more worse for both the genders. Male genders should change the way they behave.. Sir agreed as you said that men should know the art of articulation but the hard fact is that it’s not easy for most of women also to stick herself to a particular issue and argue towards resolution. At any point she feels stuck in a logical argument, suddenly she start playing emotional cards and bringing 100 topics in to make it endless & illogically debate. Which men do not generally like that endless & directionless mess of 100 issues together. That’s why most of men prefer to be speechless and dumb to end that toxic arguments. It does not mean that their brain is not working. Resolution depends on the understanding of both. If anyone is not willing to resolve, all logics are fail.

That is exactly the point the author underlined. That yes, she very wittingly will take you to past situations where you've been proven wrong and might as well would have accepted your mistake and apologized for it too. What you need to do, as the author also succinctly explained, is to bring her to the present situation at hand, briefly telling that yes I was wrong there and have apologised for it too, but talk about this first. Point is if she drags you to past situations which she will, you have to say han OK talk about this first. But without losing your cool. That's the key. Otherwise the entire debate or the argument will be flushed down the gutter and you'll be blamed for having used your hand or foul words.

Considering the differences, it would be wrong to say that men need to emulate women when it comes to expressing feelings. This might cause more harm than good. Coming to the point, men ridicule other men, yes it is right, but it's normal for men to show affection by giving each other a hard time. Slangs and aggression are important aspects of male communication. And the main problem that the modern world has is that most men don't have access to male spaces where they can just me men. The movie Fight Club perfectly encapsulates this problem.
