Superman's high-end feats are ridiculous. His consistent feats, which are also powerful, could be challenged with Thanos' feats. This is without any of thanos high-end feats himself via cosmic technology. (Power Gems, Infinity gems etc)

I'm not convinced. The things Thanos has done, I've seen Superman do more impressive things. Why are those being ignored? We need a full list of feats from both.

Superman is the posterboy for how strong you DONT make a superhero. You end up having to write them out and downplay their abilities just so that the other heroes have something to do. Villains are not held by this, and Thanos is by design so powerful it takes EVERYONE to beat him. In conclusion, it would be bad writing if superman could easily crush one of the biggest baddest villains in the marvel universe. That would make both superman and thanos poorly written.

Thanos isn’t in Supes league to be honest. Superman is the literal GOLD standard for all comic book characters.

In the What If episode Ultron was able to use an energy laser to cut Thanos in half in less than a second. So if Superman charged up from the sun and used all his energy into his heat vision he should be able to do the same and given his speed should be able to dodge Thanos attack.

He’s been kicked across the entire state of Utah & landed in Colorado, then punched from Metropolis to China, went from California to Tokyo, been thrown out of the moon & has been hit to the moon on several occasions. He has taken planters destruction multiple times. While weakened in a pocket universe without a yellow sun, Superman was slammed into a planet with enough force that the shockwave went out and dwarfed the planet in comparison. He had his mind swapped with Bizarro, so Supermom ended up punching his own body to the Earth and he actually came out the other end smiling about it. I mean Superman has flown from the edge of the Universe back to Earth in just 60 days. The observable universe is 93 billion light years across meaning it would take light 93 billion years to get across there & Superman did it in 60 days. He was even capable of momentarily keep up with Flash (Barry Allen) & Kid Flash (Wally West.) He has even outpaced light ray a new god who is fast enough to circumnavigate apocalypse thousands of times in a moment & as previously mentioned apocalypse absolutely dwarfs Earth to the point where Earth is the size of lake on apocalypse. Combat Speed: Superman has reacted to both The Flash & Kid Flash who can move faster than the speed of light. He is able to think faster than light speed. He can measure time in microseconds, nanoseconds & attoseconds. Wonder Woman is known to be faster at combat speed than Superman. But there’s been times when he was wanted to he had blitzed Wonder Woman, blitzed Ultraman (an evil version of himself), blitzed Zod (a guy who has the exact same powers as him), Ursa, Bizarro, Black Lantern Superman. He was able to land 4000 punches on Doomsday in an instant. He’s caught professor Zoom & The Flash before. There was also a time Superman was able to keep up with a ship travelling much faster than the speed of light and was able to scan the ship to make sure there was no life on board. Conclusion: Superman wins.

Superman is no where near as intelligent as Thanos. Thanos has overpowered foes he shouldn't have, kind of like Hulk does, but in a different way.
