Him and Feng will definitely be strong in Tekken 8

Learn the recovery of df2 and when you can start the input for ff2. Also it needs to be a dash ff2

Practice with less hits to begin with. Also generally practicing duck cancels helps, you can try doing duck f2 into ws1 to get a feeling for the timing

@@Topbruv Thanks! I found out that for some reason I can do it pretty consistenly in T6 but not in TTT2.. guess its something about the copy I have on RPCS bcuz the game itself feels really clunky while T6 feels good.

@@gajdyx8823go into the input setting while in game by pressing the ps button. There is a setting I forgot the name but it’s set at 1000. If you lower it to 500 the input lag will be lower and it’s easier to do these type of combos.

There are definitely cheap characters, and Steve Fox isn’t (anymore lol).

@@JJEHUTYYSo many dudes at intermediate level see Steve players and think they can just mash because it’s hard for Steve to do anything against them and he seems defenseless compared to most characters. (I know because before I used Steve Fox, I did this, and when I played with Steve Fox I dropped tons of ranks at first and experienced this myself). Then they get pissed off when they get matched with the Steve player that takes advantage of his game plan and destroys them because all they are doing is mashing into him like he wants. They say turtling Steve is how you destroy him- because so many of his attacks end in highs you can just duck. He has weaker options to try and dissuade people from ducking too much. The best being the DF2 counter hit Shiro combo… Which has been nerfed and made more difficult to perform time and time again.

He isnt wrong. T6 steve seems really unfun to play against imo. Cant step or whiff punish him but he can do it to you while being extremely safe and taking minimal risks. Keep in mind this is in a game with a worse low parry so he doesnt take any big risks going for lows to open you up which is his weakness in T7. Also he doesnt look that difficult to me in this game but this is coming from a T7 steve player
